Inside the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, a 30 to 40 minute seaplane hop from Malé. Seaplanes fly in daylight only, so an arrival much after 15:00 means a night in Malé before you reach the island. Baa is also home to Hanifaru Bay, where mantas and whale sharks gather between roughly June and November.
