Only a handful of Maldives resorts put a slide on the villa, and usually on one or two villa types, not every room. Book the villa name, not the resort. Most slides drop into the lagoon; a reef close by still matters more over a week.

No. At most resorts the slide comes with one or two named villa types. Check that the villa you book has Slide in its name. RAH GILI Maldives is the exception, with a slide on every overwater villa.
There is no lifeguard; the slide is inside your villa. Most land in the lagoon, which is shallower at low tide. For young children, pick a slide that lands in the villa's own pool, as at W Maldives and the Soneva Jani island villas.
The villa, the meal plan named on the resort page, return transfers and every Maldivian tax. Not in the price: your international flights, travel insurance, Indian TCS, and anything not named above.
