House reef

Live coral within swimming distance of the beach, reliably good fish life, safe entry.
One of the better reefs in Baa, and reachable without a boat: from a water villa the outer reef is about fifty metres out, and guests snorkel off the island rather than planning trips. Turtles, reef sharks, eagle rays, octopus and dense fish are all regular, and snorkelling gear is free on request for the whole stay. Coral is patchy rather than uniform, with several guests describing damaged sections near the shore, so expect a living reef with worn patches rather than a perfect one. Water villas are the category for the reef; beach villas are for the sand.
