Please read this policy carefully before confirming your booking. By making a booking with 360 Degree World, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these terms. We recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect your investment.

1. Booking Confirmation
Your booking is confirmed only when you have received a written booking confirmation from 360 Degree World and your deposit or full payment has been received and cleared.
Please review your confirmation carefully. Any discrepancies must be reported to us within 48 hours of receipt. We cannot accept responsibility for errors reported after this period.
Important: An enquiry, quote, or provisional hold does not constitute a confirmed booking. No financial commitment exists until a written confirmation has been issued by us.
2. Payment Schedule
Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of typically 25β30% of the total package cost is required at the time of booking. The exact deposit amount will be confirmed in your booking proposal.
Balance Payment
The remaining balance is due 60 days before departure. For bookings made within 60 days of departure, full payment is required immediately.
Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in automatic cancellation of your booking and forfeiture of your deposit. We will contact you before taking this step.

- Bank transfer (NEFT / IMPS / RTGS)
- Credit card or debit card (processing fee may apply)
- UPI (for eligible transactions)
3. Cancellation Policy
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to pranjal@360degreeworld.com. Cancellation charges are calculated from the date we receive your written notice:

Note: These charges reflect costs already committed to resorts, airlines, and transfer operators on your behalf. Individual supplier cancellation policies may be more restrictive and will be communicated at the time of booking.
4. Refund Eligibility
Refunds are only applicable where cancellation charges do not consume the full amount paid. The following are non-refundable under any circumstances:
- Booking deposits
- Airline tickets once issued by the carrier
- Seaplane and speedboat transfer costs once confirmed
- Costs arising from failure to hold valid travel documents
- No-show charges (see Section 9)
- Payment gateway or card processing fees
Refunds are subject to amounts recoverable from our suppliers. In cases where suppliers are unable to return funds, we will provide written confirmation of the amounts retained and the reasons.
5. Refund Timeline & Process
Once a cancellation is confirmed and the refund amount calculated, we process refunds as follows:
Cancellation Confirmed
We acknowledge your written cancellation request and calculate the refund amount within 3β5 working days.
Supplier Recovery
We contact all relevant suppliers (resort, airline, transfers) to recover eligible amounts on your behalf.
Refund Processed
Eligible refunds are processed within 14 working days of confirmation. Bank processing may add a further 5β7 working days.
Refund Confirmation
We send you a written confirmation of the refund amount and the payment reference for your records.
Refund Methods
- Card payments: Refunded to the original card used. Processing fees are non-refundable.
- Bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS/RTGS): Refunded to the originating bank account. Our team will contact you to confirm account details.
- UPI: Refunded to the originating UPI ID where technically possible.
Havenβt received your refund? First check your bank account and allow the full processing period. Then contact your bank or card issuer. If you still have not received it after 21 working days, contact us at pranjal@360degreeworld.com and we will investigate immediately.
6. Airline & Transfer Rules
Airline tickets are subject to the fare rules of the issuing carrier. Once tickets are issued, they are typically non-refundable and non-transferable. Changes may be possible subject to airline fees and fare differences.
- Seaplane transfers operate subject to weather and daylight conditions and may be substituted with speedboat transfers without refund.
- Flight delays, cancellations, or schedule changes by the airline are outside our control. We will assist you in managing the situation but cannot accept liability for resulting costs.
- We strongly recommend travel insurance covering flight disruption and missed connections.
7. Resort Cancellation Rules
Individual resorts may apply their own cancellation and refund policies, which can be more restrictive than our standard policy β particularly during peak season (December β January) and for special promotions.
Resort-specific policies will be clearly communicated to you at the time of booking and will form part of your booking confirmation. Where resort policies are more restrictive, those terms will apply.
Peak season note: Bookings over Christmas, New Year, and other peak periods typically carry 100% cancellation charges from the time of confirmation. Please confirm this with us before booking.
8. Force Majeure
360 Degree World shall not be liable for cancellations or disruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:
- Natural disasters, pandemics, or public health emergencies
- Government travel restrictions or border closures
- War, civil unrest, or terrorism
- Severe weather events preventing travel
- Airport or resort closures
In force majeure situations, we will make every effort to recover costs from suppliers and offer alternatives where possible. Refunds will be limited to amounts recoverable from suppliers. Travel insurance is essential to cover such scenarios.
9. No-Show Policy
If you fail to arrive at your resort or depart on your booked travel date without prior written notice to us, this will be treated as a no-show. No-shows are subject to a 100% cancellation charge with no refund.
If you are delayed due to circumstances outside your control (such as a flight delay), please contact us immediately so we can liaise with the resort on your behalf.
10. Amendments & Date Changes
We understand that plans can change. Amendment requests must be submitted in writing and are subject to availability and supplier approval.
- Date changes: Subject to availability and any fare or rate differences. An amendment fee may apply.
- Name changes: May be possible subject to airline and resort policies. Fees apply.
- Room upgrades or downgrades: Subject to availability and rate differences at the time of amendment.
- Adding passengers: Subject to availability and applicable rates at the time of the request.
Amendments made within 30 days of departure may be treated as a cancellation and rebooking, subject to full cancellation charges on the original booking.
11. Processing Fees
The following fees may be deducted from refund amounts where applicable:
- Card processing fees: Non-refundable. Typically 1.5β2.5% of the transaction value depending on the card type.
- Amendment fees: INR 2,500 per booking per amendment (waived for the first amendment where made more than 60 days before departure).
- Supplier-imposed fees: Any fees charged by resorts, airlines, or transfer operators will be passed on at cost.
12. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all travellers purchase comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking. A good policy should cover:
- Cancellation for any reason (including medical emergencies)
- Medical expenses and emergency evacuation from the Maldives
- Flight delays, cancellations, and missed connections
- Baggage loss or delay
- Force majeure events
360 Degree World does not provide travel insurance. Travelling without adequate insurance is entirely at your own risk. We cannot be held responsible for losses that would have been covered by a standard travel insurance policy.
13. Frequently Asked Questions
Can I cancel my booking if I change my mind?
Yes, you can cancel at any time in writing. Cancellation charges apply based on how far in advance you cancel (see Section 3). We recommend travel insurance that covers cancellation for any reason.
How long does a refund take?
Eligible refunds are processed within 14 working days of cancellation confirmation. Your bank or card issuer may take a further 5β7 working days to reflect the credit in your account.
What if the resort cancels my booking?
In the rare event a resort cancels your booking, we will offer an alternative resort of equivalent or higher standard, or a full refund of all monies paid to us. We will advocate on your behalf with the resort.
Can I change my travel dates after booking?
Date changes are possible subject to availability and any fare or rate differences. Please contact us as early as possible β changes are easier and less costly the further in advance they are made.
What happens if my flight is cancelled by the airline?
Airline cancellations are outside our control. We will assist you in rebooking or claiming compensation from the airline. Your travel insurance should cover additional costs arising from flight cancellations.
Is my deposit refundable?
Deposits are non-refundable as they are used to secure your resort and flight reservations immediately upon booking. This is standard practice across the luxury travel industry.
What if I need to cancel due to a medical emergency?
We will do everything we can to assist you and recover costs from suppliers. However, cancellation charges still apply. This is why we strongly recommend travel insurance that covers medical cancellation β your insurer would reimburse you for any charges we are unable to waive.
