Seaplanes fly in daylight only, so your international flight needs to land at Velana by mid-afternoon, between 15:00 and 15:45 depending on the resort, or the first night is spent in Malé. Hurawalhi Maldives can fly a late arrival to Madivaru domestic airport instead, which is worth knowing if the only flight from your city lands in the evening.
