South-west of Malé, with two ways in. Most resorts here use a 40 to 45 minute seaplane, daylight only, so your flight needs to land at Velana by 15:00 or 15:30 depending on the resort. Kandima Maldives uses a domestic flight and a short boat instead, about 50 minutes, and it still runs in the evening. If your flight lands late, that difference decides the shortlist.
