Worth choosing the resort for. One or two caveats on entry point or current.
A large all inclusive island with a genuinely good reef, which is an unusual combination. The coral starts immediately off the beach on the sunset side, and guests snorkel it daily and see stingrays, juvenile blacktips and dense fish, with a guitar shark and turtles reported too. Two practical things matter here. The all inclusive snorkel kit is not allowed on the house reef, so bring your own or you will pay for it on the island, and the hard coral and hard sand make beach shoes necessary. Low numbered blocks sit closest; the high numbers are a long walk.
