Adults only, and guests disagree about the reef, so here are both halves. Off the water villa steps it is shallow, with a swim of about twenty metres to rock and coral patches that hold a lot of fish, plus baby sharks and eagle rays under the decks. Others report the lagoon red-flagged and say you cannot swim to the house reef at all. The coral is average. The proper reef is reached on the resort's boat, one hour of which is included on the premium all inclusive plan and charged otherwise. Spinner dolphins pass the decks.

About the resort
You & Me Maldives is an adults-only island in Raa Atoll, 45 minutes from Velana by seaplane, and every price here is the Premium All-Inclusive plan. Seaplanes fly in daylight only, so land before 15:30 or you spend the first night in Malé.
It is built for couples: quiet, romantic and without children anywhere on the island. It also has H2O, an underwater restaurant. Seven kinds of villa are priced on this page, from the Lagoon Villa to the You & Me Suite, which has its own pool and a slide into the lagoon.
What you pay
Every price is for two people for three or four nights, with the Premium All-Inclusive plan, the return seaplane and every Maldivian tax inside.
Honeymooners staying three nights or more get wine and chocolates, a special turndown and a candlelight dinner. Birthdays and anniversaries get a cake.
What's included, and what isn't
In the price: the villa, meals and drinks on the Premium All-Inclusive plan, a sunset cruise, one snorkelling trip, up to three yoga or Pilates classes, daily yoga, Zumba and aqua aerobics, the lounge at the seaplane terminal, the return seaplane and every Maldivian tax. The pool suites also get one floating breakfast.
Not in the price: spa treatments, which are a fifth off, dinner at H2O, which is a tenth off, your international flights, travel insurance, Indian TCS, and anything not named above.
Who this isn't for
Families, because children are not allowed. And anyone who wants to snorkel straight off the villa steps: guests disagree about the house reef, and the best coral is reached by boat.
Before you book
The Lagoon Villa sleeps two adults. Every other villa sleeps up to three adults. Split stays between the water and the beach are priced on request. The festive period is not priced on this page.
