Easy entry in front of the spa, then a few hundred metres to the left is the best of it: blacktips, turtles, morays, big clams and a lot of colourful fish. Guests report the lower-numbered villas sit closest, and we will confirm which for your dates. The coral is ordinary rather than remarkable, which is normal for South Male, and the snorkelable stretch is not long; on a stay over a week you may want the boat trips. Current can shut down snorkelling from the water villas on some days.

About the resort
Every villa at OZEN Reserve Bolifushi has its own pool, a dedicated butler and a bar restocked daily, and the island is about 35 minutes from Velana by the resort's luxury catamaran. Boats run day and night.
This is the more polished of the two OZEN islands in South Malé Atoll: better drinks, fewer activities, and more time around your own pool. It suits couples and families who want to land and stop deciding things.
What you pay
Pick a villa and dates above. The price is four or five nights for two on the RESERVE Plan, the only meal plan the resort sells, with the return catamaran and every Maldivian tax, green tax included.
The early-booking prices close on the date shown beside the price. The festive weeks and one short peak spell are not part of the offer and are priced at the resort's full rate. The Earth Pool Villa Classic is not in the offer either, so for now it sits above the larger Sunrise and Sunset villas.
You can split the stay between the beach and the water. Two nights in an Earth Pool Villa Sunrise and two in an Ocean Pool Suite comes to up to 5 per cent less than four nights in the Ocean Pool Suite alone, depending on your dates. The resort may swap the order of the two halves, and we tell you the order before you pay.
The slide is a big step. The Ocean Pool Suite with Slide runs a great deal above the same suite without it. Worth it if children will use it daily. Otherwise, spend it on a fifth night.
What's included, and what isn't
In the price: your villa, all meals at Vista del Mar, Sangu Beach and Saffron, one dinner at Soyi for every four nights, one ORIGINƎ fine-dining meal from four nights and two at ten, premium drinks with champagne, the in-villa bar, your butler, one 60-minute spa treatment each for everyone 12 and over, snorkel gear, non-motorised water sports, the gym, the kids' club and the return catamaran.
Not in the price: your international flights, travel insurance, Teppanyaki, the Cuvée wine library, diving, motorised water sports, babysitting, anything after 11:00 on departure day, Indian TCS, and anything not named above.
Who this isn't for
Divers, and anyone who wants activities built in. Diving is extra and outside operators are not allowed. Our sister pick, OZEN Life Maadhoo, includes snorkelling trips, a sunset cruise and a dive or spa voucher, and its four nights start lower.
Snorkellers expecting a spectacular reef. Entry by the spa is easy and you will see blacktips, turtles and morays, but the coral is ordinary and the stretch short. Wind can stop snorkelling from the water villas.

Four nights is the shortest stay we can price here. Shorter stays need the resort's approval, so we price them on request. The early-booking prices are for new bookings only and combine with the resort's Kids Free offer and nothing else.
The two-bedroom villas are priced for two. Tell us who else is coming and we will add them.

Where is OZEN Reserve Bolifushi?
OZEN Reserve Bolifushi is in South Malé Atoll, about 35 minutes from Velana by the resort's luxury catamaran, so there is no seaplane. Every villa has its own pool, a butler and a bar restocked daily. Its sister resort, OZEN Life Maadhoo, is in the same atoll and suits divers and anyone who wants more activities built into the plan.

What is the RESERVE Plan?
It is the only plan OZEN Reserve Bolifushi sells. It covers all meals at Vista del Mar, Sangu Beach and Saffron, one dinner at Soyi for every four nights, one fine-dining meal at ORIGINƎ on stays of four nights or more and two at ten nights, premium drinks including three champagne brands and over 100 wines, the in-villa bar restocked daily, your butler, snorkel gear, non-motorised water sports, the gym, the kids' club and bicycles. Teppanyaki and the Cuvée wine library are charged. The plan ends at 11:00 on departure day.
What dining options are available?
Vista del Mar and Sangu Beach serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, and Saffron serves Indian dinners. All three are open to you as often as you like. Soyi, for Pan-Asian food, gives you one dinner for every four nights, and ORIGINƎ, for fine dining, one meal on stays of four nights or more and two at ten nights. Book ahead for Saffron, Soyi and ORIGINƎ. Teppanyaki at Royal RESERVE and the Cuvée wine library are always charged. OZAR pool bar is open 10:00 to midnight, and Sangu Bar until the last guest leaves.
What spa treatments are included in the RESERVE Plan?
Each guest gets 60-minute treatments at the ELE|NA spa, scaled to the length of stay: one at four to five nights, two at six to nine, three at ten to thirteen, and four at fourteen nights or more. The vouchers are given out at check-in, carry your villa number, cannot be passed to anyone else and are not refunded if unused. Children under 12 cannot use the spa.
What water sports and activities are complimentary?
Snorkel gear for the whole stay, windsurfing, catamaran sailing, canoes and stand-up paddleboards are all in the RESERVE Plan, along with the full gym. Diving, motorised water sports and beach training classes are charged. Outside operators for water sports, diving and excursions are not allowed on the island, so these can only be booked with the resort.
Is there a kids club at OZEN Reserve Bolifushi?
Yes. The Kuda Koli kids club is open daily from 09:00 to 18:00, and it is in the price, as are bicycles for adults and children. Babysitting is charged. Prices on this page are for two, so children are added on top, and the resort's Kids Free offer can apply. Tell us the ages of anyone travelling and we will price it.
What villa categories are available?
This page prices eight villas. On the beach: the Earth Pool Villa Classic, Sunrise and Sunset, the two-bedroom Earth Pool Pavilion and the two-bedroom Earth Pool RESERVE Sunset. Over the water: the Ocean Pool Suite, the Ocean Pool Suite with Slide and the two-bedroom Ocean Pool RESERVE Sunset with Slide. You can also split a stay between the beach and the water, and we price that on request. Every villa has its own pool, a butler and an in-villa bar. The three-bedroom Earth Pool RESERVE and the Royal RESERVE are not priced on this page, but we can book them.
What is the Hiyani butler service?
Every villa at OZEN Reserve Bolifushi has a dedicated Hiyani, the resort's name for a butler, for the whole stay. Your Hiyani books restaurants and spa appointments and looks after anything else you ask for. The service is part of the RESERVE Plan, so there is nothing extra to pay for it.
