What Our Guests Say

Rated Travellers' Choice on TripAdvisor

Our island getaway paradise

We enjoyed a fantastic 5-night stay at Grand Park Kodhipparu. The lagoon water villa was the perfect place to be anytime of the day or night — the view of the lagoon, the night sky, the glass floor and the stingray we kept seeing especially early mornings. The staff were all helpful and friendly. Osamah, our island host, was always cheerful. We had a great time doing yoga with Diksha every morning at 6am and evening at 5pm. The food at the different restaurants was fresh and tasty. Definitely a recommended place to spend your vacation in the Maldives.

Perfect resort with even more perfect staff

Our trip to Grand Park Kodhipparu was everything we wanted from the Maldives and more! We were particularly impressed by the staff — Diksha's morning and evening yoga sessions were the perfect start and end to a relaxing day. We also had a fabulous time with activities assisted by Saira, who brought a fun, positive and welcoming presence to every session. Our host Osamah helped fulfil all of our requests — no inquiry was too much for him. Overall a 10/10 experience. Can't wait to come back!

It was the most amazing trip ever, from start to finish. Everything was just magnificent. The staff were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. It was just magnificent.

Great resort

The resort is incredibly cozy and has a total aesthetic, Insta-worthy vibe. It's on the smaller side, but every space feels wide open and uncrowded. The food is great, and the sports centre receptionists are very warm and welcoming, enthusiastically introducing all the available activities. An ideal vacation spot for groups of friends, couples and spouses alike. Highly recommended.

Grand Park Kodhipparu

Regular price₹ 159,000
/
Double occupancy, 3 nights (4 nights on split stays), return speedboat transfers, spa treatment, all taxes included except TCS · valid until 15 Oct 2026

A 50-minute spa treatment for each of you, a sunset cruise and the shared speedboat both ways sit inside every figure on this page. That is unusual at this price.

The boat takes 20 minutes and runs at any hour, and the house reef at the end of it is one of the best inside that range. Bookings close 15 October 2026, though the rates themselves run through to September 2027, so the deadline lands long before the holiday does.

What this actually costs

Pick a villa and a meal plan above and the figure is the whole stay for two adults. Flights are not included. Everyone in the villa has to be on the same plan, and the inclusions need three nights minimum.

  • Skip full board. Take soft all inclusive. The step up costs about ₹10,000 for two across the stay and adds unlimited house beer, house wine, soft drinks, tea and coffee at mealtimes. You would spend that on four rounds of drinks.
  • All inclusive is about ₹34,000 above soft all inclusive and changes the holiday: spirits, cocktails, drinks all day rather than only at meals, a restocked minibar and an hour a day of non-motorised water sports. If you drink lightly, soft all inclusive is the buy.
  • The split stay is the value play. Two nights in a Lagoon Water Villa plus two in a Beach Pool Villa is ₹215,100 on bed and breakfast this autumn. Three nights in the Beach Pool Villa alone is ₹183,200. An extra night and a villa over the lagoon for ₹31,900.

Not on the dropdown, but we will price them: the Grand Residence, costed on four people rather than two, and the festive dates below.

Who this isn’t for

Remote, this is not. Malé sits on the horizon and the flight path is close. You get a boat at any hour in exchange.

The resort does not recommend children under 12 in an overwater villa and asks parents to sign a waiver at check-in. With young children take the Beach Pool Villa, 78 m² with a pool and the beach at the door. This is a family island with a kids’ club, not a hushed adults-only one.

Festive, 24 December to 10 January, is not sold on these prices: four nights minimum, own rates, and a compulsory US$350 per adult and US$175 per child on 31 December.

Before you book

  • Cancellation is unusual here. Free up to 15 days before arrival, then 100% from 14 days out, with full payment due at 14 days. Generous early, unforgiving late.
  • Extra beds, per stay, on top of the two-adult price. An extra adult from US$695, a child aged 3 to 11.99 from US$305, a child aged 2 to 2.99 US$36, under two free. It also combines with the Kids Stay Free promotion.
  • The reef makes the villa choice matter. From a Reef Pool Water Villa the drop-off is a few steps from your ladder; from an ocean villa it is a swim. Soft corals, reef sharks and morays most days.

Tell us your dates, who is travelling and whether the reef is the priority, and we will come back with a transfer-inclusive costing and an honest call on the meal plan. Most people over-buy it. Message our Maldives specialists on WhatsApp or send us an enquiry. We reply within 24 hours.

House reef 5/5 Exceptional

Live coral within swimming distance of the beach, reliably good fish life, safe entry.

Twenty minutes from Male, so you will see the city on the horizon, and one of the better reefs within that range, which is an unusual pairing. Book a reef villa and the drop-off is a few steps from your ladder; from an ocean villa it is a swim. Soft corals, which are scarcer than people assume, plus reef sharks and morays most days and resident marine biologists to point them out. The current will drift you gently along the reef edge, which is the nicest way to do it. The villa category matters more here than almost anywhere, so tell us if the reef is the priority.
