What Our Guests Say

Rated Travellers' Choice on TripAdvisor

Excellent resort in every respect

Sometimes a few words are enough: this is a very unique place and simply an excellent resort! Meanwhile there are quite a lot of luxurious resorts in the Maldives and everyone we visited so far was great (O&O, Waldorf, Jumeirah, Como and others). But the Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru was our best Maldives experience in more than 20 years. We definitely will go back. It's like a holiday paradise! The spacious villas are top notch and seem newly renovated, the staff is super friendly and the atmosphere on the island is really relaxed. Great dive base and my best diving in the Maldives so far (tons of Manta and we also saw whale sharks twice). Great spa. Excellent food (Blu and our favourite Fuego).

Pure Luxury and Perfection

We just had the most incredible stay at Four Seasons Resort Landaa Giraavaru. From the moment we arrived, the service was VVIP — warm and attentive. We stayed in a 1,600 m² villa and it was absolutely stunning. 4 bedrooms, private pool, direct private beach access, and views that you never get tired of. The cleanliness, the food, the spa, the activities... everything was world-class. 3 days of ultimate luxury, and we left feeling so happy and recharged. It is the most luxurious 3 days of my life so far. A huge thank you to the entire Four Seasons team, especially Ayya and Farey for making this an unforgettable experience.

Will miss this place

Such a beautiful property that offers so much. From the moment we landed at the Male airport to getting to the island, it was such a smooth process. The rooms were spacious, clean, with so many amenities. The service and attentiveness of the Four Seasons staff was outstanding. Always going above and beyond expectations. Loved every moment of our vacation.

Well-being between the ocean and nature

After three days at Four Seasons Kuda Huraa, we continue our journey by seaplane to another gem of Four Seasons: Landaa Giraavaru. There are places that you enjoy while you are there, and others that stay with you long after you return home. In Landaa Giraavaru, the tranquility of the ocean set the rhythm for each day. The oceanfront spa, the cuisine crafted with fresh and natural ingredients, and the constant attention to every little detail made everything feel authentic and cared for. More than a resort, it was an experience of calm, well-being, and connection with nature. A memory that I would undoubtedly relive. Thank you very much to the entire team for making our stay so special!

Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru

Regular price₹ 710,300
/
Double occupancy, half board, return shared seaplane transfers, all taxes included except TCS · valid until 20 Dec 2026

Four Seasons has released its India-market offer at Landaa Giraavaru: 15% off the villa rate and half board for two included, on stays to 20 December 2026. Three nights in a Premier Oceanfront Bungalow with Pool comes to ₹710,300 for two, with the return seaplane inside the number.

Read the transfer line before anything else. The shared seaplane is roughly ₹243,700 for two return, which on the entry villa is 34% of what you pay. There is a way to make it disappear, and it is a few lines down.

What this actually costs

Every figure above is the whole stay for two adults, not a nightly rate: the villa and its private pool, daily breakfast, the half-board dinner upgrade for two, return shared seaplane transfers, green tax and every other tax. Drinks, lunch, diving and spa treatments are not in it, and neither are flights to Malé.

  • Book both islands and the seaplane is free. Three or more nights at Kuda Huraa with three or more here earns complimentary return seaplane transfers for two. A three-night Premier Oceanfront Bungalow drops from ₹710,300 to roughly ₹466,600, and three nights at Kuda Huraa start at ₹261,800.
  • It is the best-value structure either resort offers, and the one most people never hear about. It is not on the dropdown, and we confirm it with the resort on every enquiry before we quote it.
  • From 1 October the water villa is free. The Water Villa with Pool costs ₹55,100 more than the Premier Oceanfront Bungalow in the green season and exactly the same from October. If your dates are in the last quarter, do not book the bungalow.
  • Sunset over the water costs ₹81,300 more than sunrise on three green-season nights. You are buying the evening, not better snorkelling. The suites, the two-bedroom villas and the Landaa Estate sit outside this offer and we price them by hand.

Who this isn’t for

Anyone whose transfer budget is tight. ₹243,700 of seaplane before you have slept anywhere is the price of Baa Atoll, and unless you are pairing it with Kuda Huraa there is no way around it.

Anyone who wants to snorkel off their own steps. The house reef is the most modest of the major Baa islands, much of it grown on the resort's own coral frames, and the sunrise side is stomach-deep. Two neighbours in this same atoll do it far better and we will name them. There is no nightlife here either.

Before you book

  • A 40-minute seaplane from Velana, daylight only, last departure around 15:00. An evening arrival into Malé means a night in the city at your own cost. Book a morning flight from India and you keep the resort night you paid for.
  • Come in manta season. Hanifaru Bay is in this atoll and Landaa is the Manta Trust's Maldivian headquarters. The aggregation runs roughly May to November, which is the cheaper half of the year. Whale sharks are in Ari Atoll, not Baa, whatever anyone tells you.
  • Children under 12 stay free sharing with parents, space permitting, and breakfast covers four in the family villas. Stays from 21 December fall outside this offer.

Tell us your dates and villa and we will come back with a transfer-inclusive costing, plus a side-by-side against pairing this with Kuda Huraa. In most cases the two-island version is the better holiday for close to the same money. Message our Maldives specialists on WhatsApp or send us an enquiry.

House reef 3/5 Fine

You will enjoy it. You would not cross an atoll for it.

The weakest reef of the big Baa islands, and the neighbours are the reason: Kihavah and Milaidhoo both beat it in the water. What is here is modest and largely the product of the resort's own coral regeneration frames, which have pulled in real fish life near the shore. The sunrise side is stomach-deep, good for children and not much else, and visibility goes when the wind gets up. Come here for the Marine Discovery Centre, the turtle rehabilitation and manta-on-call, which are the best in the country, not for snorkelling off your steps.

Getting there

Route Seaplane
Journey 40 min, airport to island
Last arrival that works 15:00

Land at Velana after 15:00 and the last transfer of the day will have gone, which means a night in Malé before you reach the island.

Shared seaplane, daylight only. Land at Velana in the evening and you spend a night in Malé first, so send us your flights and we will check the connection before you book.
