Six Senses Kanuhura

A visitor stands behind the old resort sign at Six Senses Kanuhura, from before it became a Six Senses.

Kanuhura has a really easygoing, barefoot feel to it. I liked the three private islands, especially the little uninhabited one that you can reach by boat for a bit of Robinson Crusoe-style escape. The resort also has a strong focus on food and local Maldivian touches, which gives it more character than a typical luxury island. It feels relaxed rather than overly polished.
