Fushifaru Maldives

Fushifaru Maldives

Fushifaru in Lhaviyani felt like an intimate, pocket-sized sanctuary when we visited in 2019. The island is tiny, so you can walk barefoot from morning coffee by the lagoon straight onto the sand in three minutes. That house reef near the channel is genuinely wild, with manta rays and turtles drifting by in crystal-clear water. The only quirk is the dining variety, which feels limited after a few nights due to the small footprint. Best for couples who crave easy, quiet simplicity and world-class diving.
