What Our Guests Say

Rated Travellers' Choice on TripAdvisor

A Maldivian Marvel

Our recent stay at the Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa was our third visit to the resort. We stayed in a luxurious over the water villa, which featured exclusive amenities and a view that any descriptive superlative would fail to do justice. The wonderful and genuine staff were as energetic, enthusiastic and welcoming as our previous visits. The delicious food and beverages were of the highest quality. The Park Hyatt is a veritable paradise — quiet, extremely scenic, with a work ethic second to none. Did I mention the snorkelling and cacophony of colours around the amazing coral reef? A beautiful and serene paradise that tugs at the heart strings ❤️

Comfortable and Ecological

Well located, good snorkelling, ecological environment, oversized room, super large overwater bed, comfortable. Villa Attendant AFROJ was very attentive — cleaned twice a day, plenty of drinking water, towels changed in time, good turndown service with a little dessert surprise every night. Highly recommended.

Romantic Couple Getaway at Hadahaa Maldives

I traveled to Hadahaa Island with my wife in July 2026. This trip was incredibly relaxing and romantic. The island boasts crystal-clear turquoise water and soft white sand with stunning views everywhere. The resort offers great privacy, thoughtful staff, diverse delicious food and well-equipped overwater villas. Snorkeling here is amazing. Watching sunsets with my partner helped us escape all the hustle of city life. An unforgettable perfect holiday for couples.

Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa

Regular price₹ 752,900
/
Double occupancy, half board plus, return domestic flight and speedboat transfers and green tax included · valid until 31 Oct 2027

Four nights for two in a Beach Villa, with the domestic flight, the speedboat, Half Board Plus and green tax, from ₹7,52,900. Book ninety days ahead and the same trip in the November window drops to ₹6,26,100, because the early bird takes 20% off the villa and gives you the meal plan free.

Hadahaa is a long way south, in Gaafu Alifu Atoll. An hour's domestic flight from Malé to Kooddoo, then thirty minutes by speedboat. People accept that for one reason: the reef goes all the way round the island.

What this actually costs

Two adults, four nights, Half Board Plus, return domestic flight and speedboat, green tax. Indicative, in Indian rupees, subject to availability.

  • Beach Villa To 31 Oct 2026 ₹7,52,900 · 1 Nov – 24 Dec 2026 ₹8,51,700 · 10 Jan – 10 Apr 2027 ₹9,46,300 · 11 Apr – 10 May & 1 – 31 Oct 2027 ₹8,51,700 · 11 May – 30 Sep 2027 ₹8,06,400

The three windows priced the same are the shoulder seasons, and the resort prices them identically. The cheapest travel is 11 May to 30 September 2027. The dearest is 10 January to 10 April 2027, which is also the driest weather.

The ninety-day early bird is the whole story

Book at least ninety days before you arrive, stay four nights or more, and the resort takes 20% off the villa rate and upgrades you from bed and breakfast to Half Board Plus at no charge. Two savings in one, and the second is worth ₹1,07,100 for two over four nights on its own.

  • Beach Villa 4 nights, standard rate ₹8,51,700 · 4 nights, early bird ₹6,26,100 · You save ₹2,25,600 · 7 nights, early bird ₹9,18,100

  • Over Water Sunset Villa 4 nights, standard rate ₹9,54,600 · 4 nights, early bird ₹7,08,400 · You save ₹2,46,200 · 7 nights, early bird ₹10,62,200

  • 2 Bedroom Beach Pool Villa 4 nights, standard rate ₹16,86,800 · 4 nights, early bird ₹12,39,000 · You save ₹4,47,800 · 7 nights, early bird ₹18,13,100

It applies to every villa category and to travel from 1 November 2026 to 31 October 2027. It does not discount the transfer. There is no booking deadline to race, but there is a ninety-day clock against your arrival date, so a trip in the first four weeks of November is already outside it.

Seven nights costs less than you would guess

Stay seven nights and the resort halves the transfer under its long-stay offer, which stacks with the early bird. In the May to September window, seven nights on the early bird is ₹8,54,700 against ₹8,06,400 for four nights at the standard rate. Three extra nights for ₹48,300. On an island that costs you the better part of two days in travel, that is the booking we would make.

Here is the Beach Villa ladder at the standard rate, before the early bird:

  • To 31 Oct 2026 4 nights ₹7,52,900 · 5 nights ₹9,09,700 · 7 nights ₹10,97,800
  • 1 Nov – 24 Dec 2026 4 nights ₹8,51,700 · 5 nights ₹10,29,000 · 7 nights ₹13,12,800
  • 10 Jan – 10 Apr 2027 4 nights ₹9,46,300 · 5 nights ₹11,47,400 · 7 nights ₹14,78,500
  • 11 Apr – 10 May & 1 – 31 Oct 2027 4 nights ₹8,51,700 · 5 nights ₹10,29,000 · 7 nights ₹13,12,800
  • 11 May – 30 Sep 2027 4 nights ₹8,06,400 · 5 nights ₹9,72,500 · 7 nights ₹12,33,600

Getting there, and what it costs

Domestic flight with Maldivian from Velana International (MLE) to Kooddoo (GKK), then thirty minutes by speedboat. About ninety minutes door to door on a direct routing. The resort books both legs and schedules the domestic flight around your international arrival.

The transfer is ₹1,42,100 for two adults, return. That is a fifth of a four-night trip and it does not change with the length of your stay, which is the arithmetic behind everything above. Children up to 11.99 are ₹1,21,500 the pair; infants under two travel free without a seat. At seven nights the long-stay offer cuts the adult pair to ₹71,100.

The flight time varies because some services stop at Kadhdhoo for another atoll. Direct is about an hour. With the stop it can run to 105 minutes. Ask us to check your date before you book the international leg, because the domestic schedule decides if you land in daylight.

The house reef

The reef encircles the island, roughly two kilometres of it, and the coral starts a few steps off the beach and runs about 150 metres out to the drop-off. That is rare. Most resorts have one good stretch and three ordinary ones, and you spend the week swimming to the same corner.

Two piers put you straight on the wall, which is the easier entry and the one we suggest if you are not a strong swimmer. Currents are usually gentle. It bleached badly in 2016 and has recovered well. Water villas have deep entry even at low tide.

One thing guests report: guided snorkelling trips are charged separately, so we will confirm what is included when we quote you.

The villas

Seven categories, and only fourteen villas sit over water, split evenly between the Over Water Sunset Villa and the version with a pool. If you want overwater, book early rather than hoping.

  • Beach Villa Size 165 m² · How many 10 · Sleeps 2 adults, or 2 adults + 2 children, or 3 adults
  • Beach Pool Villa Size 180 m² · How many 19 · Sleeps 2 adults, or 2 adults + 2 children, or 3 adults
  • Over Water Sunset Villa Size 115 m² · How many 7 · Sleeps 2 adults, or 2 adults + 2 children, or 3 adults
  • Over Water Sunset Pool Villa Size 115 m² · How many 7 · Sleeps 2 adults, or 2 adults + 2 children, or 3 adults
  • Deluxe Beach Pool Villa Size 265 m² · How many 4 · Sleeps 2 adults, or 2 adults + 2 children, or 3 adults
  • 2 Bedroom Beach Pool Villa Size 300 m² · How many 3 · Sleeps 4 adults, or 4 adults + 2 children
  • Kiaali Residence, 3 bedrooms Size 895 m² · How many 1 · Sleeps 6 adults, or 6 adults + 2 children

The land villas are unusually large. A Beach Pool Villa at 180 m² is more space than most overwater categories anywhere in the country, and the Deluxe reaches 265 m². Every villa has a private deck, an outdoor garden bathroom with a bathtub and rain shower, and direct beach access.

Three things the price table tells you. Going over water costs ₹1,02,900 over four nights, and the pool on top of that is ₹61,700. The Deluxe Beach Pool Villa is ₹61,700 more than the Over Water Sunset Pool Villa and gives you 265 m² against 115, so if space matters more than waking up above the lagoon, it is the better room. And the two-bedroom is ₹16,600 cheaper than booking two Beach Villas at ₹16,86,800 against ₹17,03,400, for four adults and up to two children, which makes it the obvious choice for two couples or a family of six.

The Kiaali Residence is not in the grid above. At 895 m² with its own everything, it is a hand quote, and so is anything over the festive fortnight.

What Half Board Plus covers

This is the plan in every price on this page. It is more generous than standard half board, and the exclusions are where the Maldives normally catches people out.

Included

  • Breakfast in The Dining Room
  • Three-course dinner, your choice of The Dining Room, The Bar or The Island Grill
  • Soft drinks during meal times at applicable outlets
  • One international buffet a week, Thursdays in The Dining Room

Not included

  • Lunch
  • Alcohol, at 15% off across all outlets
  • In-villa dining
  • KOI, The Treehouse and private dining, at 30% off

You also get 30% off minibar snacks and soft drinks. Everyone on the booking has to be on the same plan for the whole stay, so you cannot put one person on Half Board Plus and another on bed and breakfast. Benefits run from 14:00 on arrival day to 12:00 on departure, which means lunch on your last day is charged.

Two upgrades exist. Full Board Plus adds a three-course lunch and costs ₹65,900 more for two over four nights. All Inclusive takes dinner to four courses, opens selected alcohol from 11:30 to 23:30, includes the weekly beach BBQ and the minibar, and adds floating breakfast in the pool villas; it is ₹1,40,000 more for two over four nights. We usually steer couples to Half Board Plus and the 15% drinks discount, because lunch on a hot island is often a sandwich by the pool and the All Inclusive premium buys a lot of à la carte.

Diving and the water

Blue Journeys is a PADI 5-star centre running courses through to certification, and the diving in this atoll is good rather than merely present. Mutteyfushi, the resort's own watersports island, is fifteen minutes by boat with a five-kilometre lagoon.

Two freshwater pools on the island, a 44-metre infinity pool and a 30-metre pool at the spa. The Vidhun Spa has five couples' treatment villas. There is a doctor on site, which matters more than it sounds when you are this far from Malé.

Honeymoons and anniversaries

Four nights or more on a honeymoon gets a 30-minute jet lag massage, a 30-minute photo session with ten digital images, a bottle of sparkling wine on arrival and a romantic villa set-up. At seven nights the resort adds a private beach dinner and a 60-minute couples massage. You need a wedding certificate less than six months old, presented at booking or on arrival.

Anniversaries need seven nights and count from the fifth, then every fifth year after. The anniversary date has to fall in the month you travel. Both stack with the early bird, so there is no trade-off to make.

Who this isn't for

Short trips. Between the domestic flight, a possible stop at Kadhdhoo and the boat, you lose most of two days to travel. Five nights is the minimum that makes sense here, seven if you can manage it, and the pricing agrees with us.

Families wanting a kids' club. There isn't one. The villas take two children comfortably and children under 13 stay free sharing with adults, but the island offers them a reef and a lagoon, not a programme.

Anyone after a lively island. Two restaurants and one bar. That is the appeal for most guests who come here, and it is worth knowing before you arrive.

Anyone travelling over Christmas and New Year. The gala dinners are compulsory, ₹92,700 for two on Christmas Eve and ₹1,85,300 for two on New Year's Eve, against which Half Board Plus gives a credit of USD 75 a head. Those dates are not in the grid above and we quote them by hand.

Before you book

  • Cancellation is tighter in high season. Shoulder and low seasons charge in full inside 14 days, high season inside 30 days, and the festive fortnight inside 60. The Kiaali Residence runs 45, 60 and 90.
  • An extra adult is USD 225 a night including breakfast. Children 12 and under stay free sharing with adults, and 2 adults plus 2 children only works if one child takes the existing sofa.
  • Green tax is USD 12 per person per night and is already in every price above. Under-twos are exempt.
  • Check-in is 14:00, check-out 12:00. A late check-out to 18:00 is half the rate, after 18:00 the full rate.

House reef 5/5 Exceptional

Live coral within swimming distance of the beach, reliably good fish life, safe entry.

A continuous reef rings the whole island, about two kilometres of it, and the coral starts a few steps off the beach and runs roughly 150 metres out to the drop-off. Two piers put you straight on the wall. Currents are usually gentle enough for a nervous swimmer. It bleached badly in 2016 and has recovered well since. Water villas have deep entry even at low tide. Guests report that guided snorkels are charged separately, so we will confirm what is included when we quote.
