Furaveri Maldives

Furaveri in Raa Atoll was deeply grounding when we went in 2019. The standout is the lush natural greenery and that sweeping house reef; sipping morning coffee on the beach while spotting sea turtles grazing right near the drop-off was unbeatable. The vibe is laid-back and genuinely authentic. The catch: the island is quite spread out, so walking everywhere in the humidity gets tiring if buggies take a while. Best for unhurried nature lovers and avid snorkelers who prefer raw island beauty over slick, overdesigned luxury.
