You will enjoy it. You would not cross an atoll for it.
Reliable marine life rather than a reef you can circle. The fish concentrate around the water villa jetty and the pilings, and guests are often pleasantly surprised to find stingrays, blacktips, nurse sharks and turtles without going out by boat. The coral close in is patchy and hard underfoot, so bring reef shoes with a stiff sole if you plan to walk around the water villas. Triggerfish here are aggressive enough that guests warn each other. The memorable encounters, including Shark Point, happen on the guided trips, which the dive centre runs well. Gear is free.
