Little or nothing to snorkel off the beach. Some islands in this band run a free boat to a reef. The note below says whether this one does.
This is a built island inside a developed lagoon, so there is no natural reef to follow from the beach. The coral nursery, which is the good part, is a protected area you can only enter on a guided tour, and guests reliably see turtles there. Elsewhere the lagoon is largely sand and dead coral, with fish gathering around the jetty and the pool bar. Gear is free from the dive centre. There is marina and inter-island boat traffic throughout. Guests openly advise booking a snorkelling boat away from the resort, which tells you most of what you need to know.
