Double occupancy, half board, return speedboat transfers, all taxes and green tax included · book by 20 Dec 2026 · stays 11 May to 22 Dec 2026

Three nights for two in a Water Pool Villa or a Beach Pool Villa, with the speedboat, half board, green tax and every other tax, starts at ₹710,100. India only, and booking closes on 20 December 2026. Nothing is added at the resort except what you order.

Patina has its own island in the Fari Islands, a man-made archipelago in North Malé Atoll, designed rather than landscaped. That is either the reason you book it or the reason you don’t.

What this actually costs

Two adults, half board, the return luxury speedboat and all taxes. The water villa and the beach villa cost exactly the same, in both seasons and at every length, so the choice is which you prefer rather than what you can afford.

  • Take enhanced half board. The included plan is dinner at Portico or Wok Society. Enhanced opens Roots, Helios, Farine and the Fari Beach Club as well, and adds ₹32,700 for two over three nights. On an island built around its restaurants, that is most of the reason to come.
  • The sunset categories cost ₹82,300 more over three nights in the green season, ₹72,000 from late September. That is the price of the western view.
  • Travelling before 27 September saves ₹102,900 on three nights against the same villa from the 28th. The trade is weather: short heavy showers, and better manta activity.
  • Up to two children under twelve stay free, eat free and travel free on the boat. You pay only the US$12 green tax a night each, and the kids’ club is complimentary. A third child is US$150 a night including meals.

Not on the dropdown: four two-bedroom categories, whose base occupancy we confirm with the resort before quoting, and the shared seaplane at ₹92,700 per adult return.

Who this isn’t for

Anyone set on all-inclusive. Patina sells no all-inclusive plan at any price. Meal plans cover food only and drinks are charged as you go.

Anyone who wants to snorkel off the beach. The bay side is shallow and calm, good for children and not for snorkelling. The reef edge sits off the ocean-facing water villas, roughly thirty metres out, with turtles and blacktip sharks but a current we would not send a nervous swimmer into. Coral is bleached in stretches.

Anyone after a small, barefoot, traditional island. Fari is a built environment with a marina and neighbours, and makes no secret of it. Drones are not permitted.

Before you book

  • The speedboat is 45 minutes, enclosed and air-conditioned, and it is inside every price. Shared boats are timed to international arrivals, so expect a 30 to 60 minute wait. They run day and night, with a surcharge outside standard hours.
  • Booking closes 20 December 2026 and travel has to be complete by 22 December. The resort can withdraw the offer on 48 hours’ notice, so a held quote is not a held rate.
  • Cancellation is tight. From 28 September, full payment falls due 21 days before arrival, 50% is charged between 21 and 15 days and 100% inside 14. Before 28 September it is payment at 14 days and 100% inside 14.

Tell us your dates and who is travelling, and we will send a costing with water and beach priced side by side, half board next to enhanced half board, and the children already counted in. Message our Maldives specialists on WhatsApp or send us an enquiry. We reply within 24 hours.

House reef 3/5 Fine

You will enjoy it. You would not cross an atoll for it.

Reef quality depends entirely on which side you are on. The bay side is shallow and calm, good for children, not for snorkelling. The reef edge sits off the ocean-facing water villas, roughly thirty metres out, with reliable turtles and blacktip sharks but a current strong enough that we would not send a nervous swimmer. Coral is visibly bleached in stretches. Come for the design and the food, and book a boat trip for the reef.

Where in the Maldives

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is Patina Maldives, Fari Islands? +
On its own island in the Fari Islands, a small archipelago in North Malé Atoll. It shares a lagoon with the Ritz-Carlton Maldives, and a complimentary dhoni runs between the two.
How do I get there? +
A 45-minute speedboat from Velana International Airport, enclosed and air-conditioned. Shared boats are timed to international arrivals, so allow 30 to 60 minutes at the airport. A private boat is available at extra cost, and a seaplane at 10 to 15 minutes is also possible. Transfers run day and night, though outside standard hours a surcharge can apply.
Is there an all-inclusive plan? +
No. Full board is the highest meal plan Patina sells, and meal plans cover food only, with drinks charged as you go. We usually quote half board. If you are comparing Patina against an all-inclusive resort, factor the drinks in before you decide.
Can I eat at the Ritz-Carlton next door? +
Yes, and the boat across is complimentary. You need a restaurant reservation, which you make after you arrive at Patina. Your Patina meal-plan credit does not apply at the Ritz-Carlton venues, so those meals are charged separately.
What is the house reef like? +
There is a house reef on the north-west side of the island, which the resort describes as lively. It is a 10 to 15 minute paddle rather than something you step into from your villa. Snorkel gear is included and the dive centre is Dive Butler International.
Is it suitable for families? +
Unusually so for this level. Footprints, the kids’ club, is complimentary for four to eleven year olds, and under-threes may use it with a parent. Under-twelves eat free from the kids’ menu in Patina’s own restaurants, children of eleven and under stay free where the villa allows, and two children’s return boat transfers are included. There is a clinic on the island with a doctor and a nurse.
Where can I eat? +
Portico is the all-day restaurant. Wok Society, Farine, Brasa, KANDU, Helios and the Fari Beach Club cover the rest, with Veli Bar and GoGo Burger at lunch and free gelato at Tuk Tuk each afternoon. Book restaurants about a week before you arrive.
What is included in the rate? +
Bicycles, snorkel gear, paddleboards and kayaks, the beach club and kids’ club, the gym and pools around the clock, filtered water and seasonal fruit daily, the dhoni between the Fari islands, wi-fi and your Patina Essentialist. A welcome bottle of champagne or a soft alternative on arrival.
