House reef

Worth choosing the resort for. One or two caveats on entry point or current.
The reef runs directly off one side of the island, and that is the side to book. From an overwater villa you take the steps straight down onto it, and the beach on that side works too; swim the passages between the water villas and you are on coral. Turtles, reef sharks, octopus and rays are all regularly reported and the colour is good, although bleaching is visible. The villas on the other side have sea access but no reef. Two practical notes: the steps can be awkward to climb back up, and guests have found litter on the reef.
