Amazing experience!

As a Marriott Titanium Elite member, JW Marriott Maldives stands out as the absolute best property for Marriott Bonvoy point redemptions. We were upgraded to a duplex two-storey overwater villa — perfect for our family of four. Our butlers Malla and Gappe arranged everything flawlessly, including an unforgettable surprise for our son's 18th birthday. The breakfast spread at Aailaa was absolutely phenomenal. Every staff member treats guests like family. We left incredibly reluctant to go.

A stay I'll be thinking about for a long time

I spent 4 nights in a Sunset Beach Pool Villa — one of those trips you keep thinking about weeks later. From the moment I got off the seaplane, everyone knew my name and remembered my food allergy without me mentioning it. Kseniia and Rameez were exceptional butlers. Chef Froosh made Venezuelan-style empanadas for me — one of those emotional moments when you're far from home. The Spa was a highlight too. Stunning resort, incredible villas, great food, and service that actually feels personal.

Perfect Resort!

Perfect vacation! We stayed in one of the overwater rooms and it was PERFECT. The room was massive, the views were out of this world, and the bed was exceptional. Beaches, service, food, room — everything made this a vacation to remember. Insider tip: food and drink prices are expensive, so splurge on the food package — no more thinking twice about the prices.

JW Marriott Maldives Review

The main restaurant tasted fine with a wide variety of dishes. The gym faces the sea and the Spa environment is excellent — great service with ocean views. The house reef had plenty of fish visible from the restaurant deck, including baby sharks at breakfast. The overwater villa views were spectacular. A memorable Maldives experience overall.

Double occupancy, return shared seaplane transfers and green tax included · book by 15 Nov 2026 · stays 25 Oct to 15 Nov 2026

The Diwali Early Bird is an India-only rate covering stays from 25 October to 15 November 2026, with Diwali on 8 November sitting in the middle of it. Four nights in a Beach Pool Villa Sunrise on half board is ₹529,200 for two, all in from Malé, return seaplane and green tax included.

Bookings have to be made by 31 August 2026. After that the resort reverts to standard Q4 pricing, which is materially higher.

What this actually costs

Every figure above is the total for two adults for the whole stay, not per night: the villa and its private pool, the meal plan, the return shared seaplane for two and green tax. Flights to Malé are not included, and everyone in the villa has to be on the same meal plan.

  • Children under twelve cost almost nothing here. A child aged 2 to 11.99 pays no accommodation and no meal plan on any board basis. You pay their seaplane seat and green tax: ₹47,700 for four nights, then ₹1,300 a night. Under two is free outright, seaplane included.
  • Take the overwater villa. The Beach Pool Villa Sunrise sits only ₹9,500 below the Overwater Pool Villa Sunrise over four nights. At that gap the decision stops being a financial one.
  • Sunset costs ₹26,700 more than sunrise on the overwater villas and ₹72,800 on the beach villas. Sunset buys you the evening light from your own deck, which is what most honeymooners actually want.
  • Two couples should share the 2-Bedroom Duplex Beach Pool Villa. Four adults on half board for four nights is ₹966,100, or ₹483,050 a couple, less than either couple would pay for their own Beach Pool Villa Sunrise.

Who this isn’t for

Late arrivals. Shaviyani is a far northern atoll and the seaplane is 55 minutes, daylight only. Land at Velana after 15:00 and you will not reach the island that day, which on a four-night package costs you a resort night.

Anyone expecting an open bar. The all-inclusive here is deliberately limited: drinks by the glass rather than the bottle apart from beer, soft drinks and water, no takeaway to the villa, and no buying a round for anyone not on the package. Read it as a fair drinks allowance.

Anyone whose dates fall outside 25 October to 15 November, or who books after 31 August. None of these prices apply.

Before you book

  • The meal plan steps are even. Full board adds about ₹79,400 over half board on four nights for two, and all-inclusive a further ₹78,200 on top. Half board is the honest default for light drinkers, though the island is remote and you will not be walking off it for a cheaper lunch.
  • An extra adult aged 12 and over in a one-bedroom villa is ₹244,200 for four nights on half board, then ₹44,000 a night, seaplane and green tax included.
  • New bookings only. It will not combine with the standard Early Bird, but it does stack with Long Stay, Repeat Guest and the honeymoon benefits. Split stays across villa categories sit at the resort’s discretion, so ask us before you plan one.

Tell us your dates, who is travelling and whether there are children in the party, and we will come back with a transfer-inclusive costing and a straight answer on which meal plan is worth paying for. Bookings close 31 August. Message our Maldives specialists on WhatsApp or send us an enquiry. We reply within 24 hours.
