Little or nothing to snorkel off the beach. Some islands in this band run a free boat to a reef. The note below says whether this one does.
There is no usable reef off this island. Guests who came for snorkelling say so bluntly, and every worthwhile account describes a boat trip through the dive centre rather than a swim from the beach. What those trips deliver is good: eagle rays, mobula rays, hawksbill turtles, nurse sharks and moray eels, generally within half an hour of the jetty. Nurse sharks turn up at the jetty itself. This island is built around a water park and a family programme, and the resort makes no house reef claim of its own. Come for that and book the reef by boat.
