Guests disagree about this one, and the disagreement is by location. Some snorkel a real reef off their villa steps; others describe a natural lagoon with no reef within swimming distance and boats as the only option. The coral is described as washed out with a lot of broken pieces. Reef shoes are essential and the villa steps are slippery. The west side by the pier has a sandy bottom; the east has rubble. Accounts of the snorkelling boat conflict too, some calling it free and one reporting seventy dollars for a group of thirty.
