You will enjoy it. You would not cross an atoll for it.
A big island inside a wide, shallow lagoon, and the snorkelling splits sharply by side. The western shore is where the live coral is. Swim east and you cross fifteen to twenty minutes of dead reef for very little. Marine life is still reliable, with eagle rays and small reef sharks reported, and they are visible from the sunset restaurant. The lagoon is shallow enough that coral underfoot makes entry awkward in a lot of spots, and one guest found the current strong for most of their stay. Ask for a sunset-side villa if snorkelling is why you are coming.
