We spent our 30th wedding anniversary on Jumeirah Olhahali Island – six unforgettable days in absolute paradise. The island is stunningly beautiful: crystal-clear turquoise waters, powdery white sand beaches, and lush tropical scenery. Our luxurious overwater villa exceeded all expectations – tastefully designed, immaculately clean, and with direct access to the ocean. Simply perfect. The butler service was outstanding – always attentive, professional, and discreet. Dining was another highlight: every meal was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented, with great variety throughout our stay. While the resort features a select number of dining venues, the incredible special dinners ensured every meal felt fresh and exciting. Compared to other luxury resorts we've visited before, the service quality here is on an entirely different level; every single staff member was incredibly warm and welcoming. The highlight of our trip, however, was undoubtedly our butler, Laith. He is a true gentleman who consistently anticipated our needs with incredible intuition, taking care of everything before we even had to ask. He was also wonderfully attentive to our children, treating them with a gentle care that was sweet but never overbearing. Laith's exceptional hospitality made our vacation seamless and unforgettable—he is truly the best butler we have ever encountered.

Jumeirah Olhahali is an all-villa island in North Malé, and every villa has its own infinity pool and a rooftop terrace. Three nights in a Water Villa with Pool is ₹501,300 for two, with half board, the return speedboat and green tax inside the number. Book by 30 September 2026.

One thing should decide what you pick: the complimentary transfer only starts at the Lagoon Villa. On most dates that makes the third category up the cheapest four-night stay on the island.

What this actually costs

Pick a villa and a package above and the figure is the whole stay for two adults: the villa and its pool, half board, return shared speedboat, green tax and every other tax. Flights to Malé are not in it, and a 2% TCS applies under Indian tax rules. Stays run three to six nights on this campaign.

  • The transfer rule is the whole game. On three nights, in any villa, the speedboat is discounted to USD 520 per person. On four nights or more it is free from the Lagoon Villa up, and charged at USD 650 per person in the Water and Ocean Villas.
  • So the Lagoon Villa undercuts the entry villa. Four nights to 26 September is ₹603,500 in a Lagoon Villa against ₹659,400 in a Water Villa. Better category, same length, less money. That holds through 11 December, after which the ordinary order returns.
  • Set on a Water or Ocean Villa? Stay three nights. It is the only length at which those two get a transfer concession, and they are also the two categories carrying a one-time USD 150 resort credit against food, drink and spa.

Who this isn’t for

Every villa here is a one-bedroom with a private pool, so there is no cheap room to retreat to and no way to buy in below the price above. Up to two children aged 12 and under stay, dine and travel free in their parents’ villa, on the children’s menu. That ends over the festive period.

Festive, 20 December 2026 to 8 January 2027, is a different product: bed and breakfast rather than half board, transfers back at full price, and compulsory galas at USD 750 per adult on 24 December and USD 1,150 on 31 December. Ask early and we will build those dates by hand.

Before you book

  • The boat runs around the clock, 55 minutes, so a late landing costs you nothing. The seaplane is 15 minutes at USD 700 per adult return against USD 650 by boat, but the free transfer covers shared speedboat only. On a four-night Lagoon Villa the seaplane means paying the whole USD 700 rather than nothing.
  • Everyone has to arrive and depart on the same flight for the complimentary and discounted transfers to apply. Separate arrangements are charged at standard rates.
  • Pick one experience during the stay, shisha at the Café Lounge or a 30-minute spa treatment. The spa slot runs 10:00 to 14:00 only and needs pre-booking, so ask us to reserve it with the villa.
