Worth choosing the resort for. One or two caveats on entry point or current.
Live reef straight off the water villa steps, with turtles daily, blacktip and baby reef sharks, stingrays, eagle rays and dense fish, and manta rays reported in the lagoon. Three constraints matter. Snorkelling is permitted only between ten in the morning and six in the evening. The best coral, around the arrival pontoon, is closed to snorkellers. And the reef varies a lot depending on where you get in, so the entry point matters more here than on most islands. There is a complimentary introductory tour once per stay. Seagrass and coral fragments lie on parts of the beach.
