The name is earned. A continuous reef circles this small island and you get onto it straight off the beach or down a ladder from a water villa deck, with live hard coral and a lot of fish. Nurse sharks are close to a daily event, and guests also report turtles, octopus, eagle rays and batfish, with a wreck on the snorkelling circuit. Masks and fins are free for the stay and a guided tour is included to show you the good sections. One stretch near the solar panels gets a red flag for current, so watch for it and stay out.
