Best of Both
2N Ocean Pool Villa + 2N Beach Pool Villa
Two nights over the water and two on the sand, on one booking. The usual way to settle the beach-or-water argument without paying for the more expensive category for all four nights.
- Four nights, split across two villa types
- Both with a private infinity pool
- Aris Meeha butler throughout
- Half board included on our rate
Beach Pool Villa
On the sand with direct beach access and a private infinity pool. Larger footprint than the overwater villas, which is the reverse of most resorts.

Sunset
Sunset Beach Pool Villa
The same beach villa facing west, so the sun sets in front of you rather than behind. The most expensive of the one-bedroom categories and the first to go.

- Aris Meeha butler, 24 hours
- Half board included on our rate
Where in the Maldives
Frequently Asked Questions
Where is The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands? +
On its own island within the Fari Islands, a small archipelago in North Malé Atoll about 45 kilometres from Velana International Airport. It shares a marina village with its neighbouring resorts.
How do I get there? +
Speedboat from Velana, on demand, 24 hours a day. There is no seaplane and therefore no daylight cut-off, so a flight landing late at night still gets you to the island that night. The transfer is quoted separately and is more expensive than most North Malé speedboat resorts, so ask us for the figure before you budget.
What meal plan do you sell? +
We quote the Ritz-Carlton on half board, which covers breakfast and dinner. Lunch, drinks and the specialist restaurants are settled on the island. Ask us if you would prefer a different plan and we will price it.
What comes with every villa? +
A private infinity pool, a sundeck and an Aris Meeha, the resort’s own butler, available around the clock. Every category has water views.
Where can I eat? +
Seven restaurants and bars. La Locanda is Italian and serves breakfast, Summer Pavilion is Cantonese, IWAU runs two Japanese chef’s tables, Beach Shack is Mediterranean and family-friendly, EAU Bar circles the infinity pool, Arabesque serves Levantine and North Indian, and Tum Tum does Asian street food at Fari Marina Village.
Is there Indian food? +
Yes. Arabesque serves North Indian alongside Levantine. It is one of the few resorts at this level where a familiar dinner is a standing option rather than a special request.
Is it suitable for families? +
Yes. Ritz Kids runs for four to twelve year olds in an indoor-outdoor club with playgrounds, napping pods, a games and film room and a pool with slides. Babysitting is available and charged. The minimum age to check in is 18.
What is the spa like? +
A ring-shaped building set over the lagoon, with nine treatment rooms, a spa suite that has its own relaxation lounge, a salon and a boutique. Treatments use Bamford products.
