Double occupancy, half board, return shared seaplane transfers, all taxes included except TCS · book by 10 Oct 2026 · stays 11 Oct to 20 Dec 2026

JOALI is the Maldives’ first art-immersive island: commissioned installations, a resident artist running ceramics workshops, and a treehouse in the canopy you can eat dinner in. Seventy-three villas, every one with a private infinity pool and a Jadugar butler.

Three nights in a Water Villa with Pool is ₹898,800 for two, half board, with the return shared seaplane and green tax inside the number. Stays run 11 October to 20 December and bookings close 10 October 2026.

What this actually costs

Pick a villa and a length above and the price covers the whole stay for two adults: the villa and its pool, daily half board, return shared seaplane transfers, green tax and the butler. Minimum three nights. Flights are not included, and lunch and drinks are settled on the island.

  • About ₹236,300 of every price is the seaplane, paid once on a three-night trip and once on a ten-night one. Three nights in a Water Villa works out at ₹299,600 a night, seven at ₹254,600, so a week is 15% less per night.
  • The ranking has flipped this season. Water is now the three cheapest categories and beach the two dearest. A Beach Villa is 108 m² indoors on a 680 m² plot; the Luxury Water Villa is the same 108 m² on 280 m². The ₹79,100 between them buys garden, not floor.
  • A third person aged 12 and over is ₹219,600 for three nights, and that figure already covers their seaplane seat. A child of 6 to 11.99 is ₹114,000. Nothing is published for two- to five-year-olds, so we get that confirmed in writing before quoting.

Not on the dropdown, but we will book them: the residences, which sit outside this package, and the Two Bedroom Beach Villa, up 42.5% on the previous band and worth rechecking against any older quote.

Who this isn’t for

Anyone chasing the lowest rate in the atoll, or landing too late for a daylight seaplane and unable to absorb a night in Malé. Families of four should skip the entry categories: the standard Water Villa and Beach Villa take two adults and one child, so two children mean a Luxury villa. Tell us the party before you pick.

Snorkellers should know what they are getting. Bleaching hit this house reef hard and it is still recovering, so expect structure and fish rather than colour. The best stretch is the small drop-off on the spa side.

Before you book

  • Bookings close 10 October 2026, ten weeks before the stay window ends. New bookings only: an existing one cannot be cancelled and rebooked onto this. It does combine with Repeater, Honeymoon and Anniversary benefits.
  • The seaplane is 45 minutes and flies in daylight only. A domestic flight and speedboat is also possible. Send us your flight times before you ticket and we will say straight away if it costs you a night in Malé.
  • Only six Beach Villas and five Luxury Beach Villas exist, against 46 water villas, so availability decides the garden long before price does. Guests report the widest, softest beach fronts the lower-numbered villas, the cheaper ones.

Tell us your dates, how many of you there are and the ages of any children, and we will come back with a transfer-inclusive costing, the resort’s Kids Offer applied if it helps, and a confirmed final figure before you commit. Message our Maldives specialists on WhatsApp or send us an enquiry. We reply within 24 hours.

House reef 3/5 Fine

You will enjoy it. You would not cross an atoll for it.

Accessible from anywhere on the island, and the fish life is reliable: reef sharks, rays, plenty of schooling fish. The coral is another matter. Bleaching hit this reef hard and it is still recovering, so expect structure and fish rather than colour. The best section is the small drop-off on the spa side. Currents can make the far side hard work. Guests also report that the widest, softest beach fronts the lower-numbered beach villas, which are the cheaper ones, and we will check that for your dates.

Getting there

Route Seaplane
Journey 45 min, airport to island
Last arrival that works 15:30

Land at Velana after 15:30 and the last transfer of the day will have gone, which means a night in Malé before you reach the island.

Shared seaplane, daylight only. Land at Velana in the evening and you spend a night in Malé first, so send us your flights and we will check the connection before you book.

Transfer details last checked August 2026. We re-check yours against your actual ticket before we quote. See what your flight can reach →

Where in the Maldives

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is JOALI Maldives? +
On Muravandhoo, an island in Raa Atoll. Its sister property, JOALI BEING, sits in the same atoll.
How is it different from JOALI BEING? +
JOALI BEING is a wellbeing island designed for adults, with children admitted only during scheduled retreat periods. JOALI Maldives is the art island, it has the Muramas kids’ club, and families are welcome all year. Same owners, same atoll, very different holidays.
How do I get there? +
By seaplane from Velana International Airport. Seaplanes fly in daylight hours only. A domestic flight and speedboat combination is also possible. Tell us your flight times and we will confirm the routing before quoting.
What meal plan do you sell? +
We quote JOALI on half board, which covers breakfast and dinner. Lunch, drinks and the specialist experiences are settled on the island.
How many villas are there, and what sizes? +
Seventy-three villas and residences. The water villas run from 100 m² interior in a 240 m² footprint up to 108 m² in 280 m². Beach villas have similar interiors on far larger plots, from 680 m² to 865 m², so the space you gain is garden. Above these sit two-bedroom villas, family beach villas with two pools, and residences up to a four-bedroom at 500 m² indoors.
We are two adults and two children. Which villa? +
A Luxury category. The standard Water Villa with Pool and Beach Villa with Pool each take two adults and one child only. The Luxury Water, Luxury Sunset Water and Luxury Beach villas take two children, and above those are two-bedroom and family villas.
Where can I eat? +
Four restaurants and a bar. Vandhoo covers Southeast Asian, Chinese and Indian and serves breakfast. Saoke is Japanese, suspended over the water and designed by Noriyoshi Muramatsu, with sushi, sake and teppanyaki. Bellinis is Italian and TUH’U is Levantine. Mura Bar runs from lunch to midnight and holds a whiskey and cigar lounge. There is also a wine cellar with daily tastings, Chef’s Garden for lunch, Her Kitchen for cooking classes and La Joie for chocolate and ice cream.
What is there to do besides the beach? +
Art is the point: installations across the island by Porky Hefer, Misha Kahn and Sophie Kitching, and an Art Studio running ceramics, glazing and mixed-media workshops with a resident artist. Beyond that, tennis, padel, archery, dhoni sailing and manta snorkelling, and the JOALI BEING Cure wellness centre.
