At Coco Bodu Hithi Maldives the cheapest villa is also one of the biggest. The Island Villa with Pool runs to 188 square metres, against 109 for the Water Villa with Pool, so on this island the overwater choice buys you the view, not the space.

It is a natural island in North Malé Atoll, 35 minutes from Velana by shared speedboat, and the boat runs day and night. No seaplane, no daylight cut-off, and a late flight from India still reaches the island the same night. The reef runs alongside the water villas and the Aqua restaurant, so many guests snorkel straight off their own steps.

What you pay

Pick a villa and a length of stay and the price is the whole stay for two: full board, the return speedboat and every Maldivian tax. These prices cover stays to 31 October 2026.

The Island Villa with Pool is the value here. Three nights come to ₹157,800. The Water Villa with Pool is ₹183,700 for the same three nights, in a villa little more than half the size.

Four nights is the length to book for a honeymoon. In the Island Villa with Pool that is ₹203,000, and it is the shortest stay the honeymoon offer accepts.

All inclusive is an add-on by the night, not priced on this page. Ask and we will add it to your quote.

What's included, and what isn't

In the price: your villa for two, breakfast, lunch and dinner, the return shared speedboat, a one-time sunset cruise, the non-motorised water sports, one free experience per villa (a floating breakfast or lunch, or a three-course meal at Stars or Aqua), 20 per cent off spa treatments, and every Maldivian tax including green tax.

Not in the price: your international flights, travel insurance, all drinks, diving, motorised water sports, excursions, spa treatments beyond the discount, Indian TCS, and anything not named above.

Who this isn't for

Anyone expecting untouched coral everywhere. Turtles, blacktip sharks and rays are seen most days, but there is bleaching in places and the odd bit of debris. The best water is off the north side and round the east, so ask us which villa numbers sit closest to it.

Anyone who wants a new-build island. This one is mature and natural rather than freshly built.

Families of four eyeing the Water Villa with Pool. It takes two adults and one child. Most other villas take two adults and two children, or three adults.

Before you book

Honeymooners have to choose. The honeymoon offer needs four nights and cannot be combined with the free experience, sunset cruise and spa discount above. We will price both routes and show you which is worth more on your dates.

The resort wants the wedding certificate when you book, or the invitation if the wedding is within three months, and travel within twelve months of the date.

Cancellation is free up to 22 days before arrival. Half the stay is charged from 21 to 8 days, and the full stay inside 7 days or for a no-show. Payment is due in full 21 days before arrival.
