Same lagoon as the neighbouring islands, and the same answer. Blacktip reef sharks under and around the water villas, schooling fish and the odd turtle, with coral nurseries showing new growth. Guests who have snorkelled widely are honest that this is not the island to come to for it, and that anything of substance means the boat out to the picnic island, where there is a proper vertical reef with eagle rays. The recent bleaching hit here and guests report white coral. The over-water villas sit closest to usable depth. Gear is free and guided trips are charged.
