House reef 4/5 Strong

Worth choosing the resort for. One or two caveats on entry point or current.

The house reef here has a name, Neru Faru, and it is a proper North Male dive site, sloping from two metres to twenty-five with healthy hard coral, reef sharks, turtles and nurse sharks. Guests report that only one side of the overwater villas faces the reef and that snorkelling is not permitted on the other, so ask us and we will confirm your villa before you book. The water under the villas is deep, so there is no coral underfoot, which suits nervous swimmers. The island is man-made and the reef is still filling in since 2022, but it is already better than most of what is within half an hour of Male.
