What Our Guests Say

Travellers' Choice Best of the Best 2025

Siyam World is amazing

Although the reviews say the reef in Siyam is not the best there were always plenty of sharks, stingrays and turtles to be seen. Snorkelling equipment is also provided free of charge at the dive centre.

The most active and beautiful hotel in Maldives

The reef near Takrai restaurant is lively with plenty of vibrant tropical fish. We've seen sharks, rays and turtles. Snorkelling in this place is wonderful!

7 days of pure bliss!

We did free snorkeling, lucky manta and shark and turtles. We were lucky enough to see them all. The coral was so much better there, we saw so much in terms of fishes and even saw a stingray.

Paradise

We were lucky enough to find a pod of dolphins which was a truly unforgettable experience.

Double occupancy (two adults per bedroom on the multi-bedroom villas), 24-hour premium all-inclusive, return seaplane transfers, all taxes included except TCS · book by 31 Oct 2026 · stays 5 Aug to 20 Dec 2026

Siyam World sits in Noonu Atoll, forty minutes by seaplane from Male, and Sun Siyam call it the largest resort in the Maldives. It is built for people who want plenty to do: the country's biggest floating water park, a horse ranch, go-karting, a full-size football field, and an all-inclusive plan that genuinely runs twenty-four hours.

The villas

Every category has its own pool. The overwater ones have a slide straight into the lagoon.

  • Water Villa with Pool + Slide, 81 sq m. The entry overwater room. Two adults and one child.
  • Sunset Pool Beach Villa, 91 sq m. Beachfront facing west. Two adults and two children.
  • Lagoon Villa with Pool + Slide, 97 sq m. Overwater, with a separate living area. Two adults and two children.
  • Beach Suite with Pool, 102 sq m. Two adults and three children, which no other one-bedroom category here takes.
  • Ocean Villa with Pool + Slide, 95 sq m. Overwater. Two or three adults, no children's bed.
  • Two Storey Pool Beach Residence, 213 sq m. Two floors on the sand. Two adults and one child.
  • Grand Beach Residence with Pool, 391 sq m. One bedroom, enormous. Two adults and two children.
  • Two Bedroom Pool Beach Villa, 200 sq m. Four adults and two children.
  • Two Bedroom Lagoon Villa with Pool + Slide, 170 sq m. Overwater, with the slide. Four adults and two children.
  • Two Bedroom Beach Residence with Pool, 649 sq m. Four adults and two children.
  • Three Bedroom Lagoon Villa with Pool + Slide, 307 sq m. Six adults and three children.
  • Grand Water Pavilion with Pool + Slide, 348 sq m. The top overwater residence. Four adults and two children.

The four residence categories add all-day in-villa breakfast, lunch and dinner at Arigato, an upgraded drinks list and a longer check-out.

What this actually costs

The price shown is the whole villa for the nights shown, on the twenty-four hour premium all-inclusive plan, with return seaplane transfers for two people per bedroom and every Maldivian tax already inside. Indian TCS is added separately on the total invoice value.

It covers breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and a dine-around dinner across six speciality restaurants or the buffet, seven bars, a sports bar that never closes, a minibar restocked daily, snorkelling gear, the water park and a fifty dollar spa credit per adult per stay.

Outside it: Arigato, the Japanese restaurant, runs at half menu price, while diving, big game fishing, kitesurfing and go-karting are charged in full. Two children under twelve stay and eat free sharing with you. Extra adults and older children are charged per night and need their own seaplane seat, and we quote those.

Getting there, and who it is not for

Seaplanes fly in daylight only. Land at Velana before 15:30 and you reach the island the same afternoon. Later than that and the route is a domestic flight to Maafaru and a short speedboat, which runs after dark too. Send us your flight times and we will pick the route rather than lose a night in Male.

This is not a quiet island. Over twenty places to eat and drink, live music and pool parties. Couples wanting silence should look elsewhere.

The house reef is patchy. The good stretch runs off the jetty near Takrai, where guests see reef sharks, rays and turtles, but the coral is unremarkable and a beach villa is the wrong place to snorkel from.

The water villas are not recommended for young children, so bring toddlers to a beach category. The dropdown stops on 20 December, so Christmas and New Year are not priced here. Ask and we will quote them.

House reef 3/5 Fine

You will enjoy it. You would not cross an atoll for it.

Siyam World is a marine-life island rather than a coral island. The best stretch runs off the overwater jetty near Takrai, the Thai restaurant, where guests report vibrant tropical fish, reef sharks, stingrays and turtles within a short swim. Elsewhere the reef is patchy, and people who snorkel straight off a beach villa tend to call it fine rather than memorable. Coral condition is the weak point here, not the fish. The overwater categories sit closest to the good water, gear is free from the dive centre, and the marine biologist runs a guided snorkel worth taking. Tell us if snorkelling matters and we will place you accordingly.

Getting there

Route Seaplane
Journey 40 minutes, airport to island
Last arrival that works 15:30

Land at Velana after 15:30 and the last transfer of the day will have gone, which means a night in Malé before you reach the island.

There is a second way in. Domestic flight from Male to Maafaru International Airport (NMF), then a speedboat to the island. This route operates after dark, so it is the one used for late arrivals and early-morning departures., about 30-minute flight plus a short speedboat, for arrivals at Velana up to 24H.

Seaplane guests use the resort's own lounge at the seaplane terminal on arrival, and the resort aims to fly you out within three hours of checking in there. Flight details are needed ten days ahead to hold the seats. Anyone on an international flight leaving Male before 09:00 travels back the previous afternoon. Baggage on both routes is 20 kg checked plus 5 kg cabin.

Transfer details last checked September 2026. We re-check yours against your actual ticket before we quote. See what your flight can reach →

Where in the Maldives?

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is Siyam World? +
Siyam World is in Noonu Atoll, in the north of the Maldives, and Sun Siyam call it the largest resort in the country. It carries sixteen villa and residence categories, from an 81 sq m overwater villa up to a four-bedroom beach residence, and it is big enough that a buggy or a Moke is the sensible way to get around.
How do I get to Siyam World? +
Fly into Velana International Airport in Male. From there it is a 40-minute seaplane, which flies in daylight only, so you need to land before 15:30 to reach the island the same afternoon. The alternative is a 30-minute domestic flight to Maafaru International Airport and a speedboat, and that route runs after dark.
What does the WOW! All-Inclusive plan cover? +
It runs 24 hours. Breakfast at Baraabaru or Tempo, lunch at Tempo, Together, Shipwrecked or Jungali, afternoon tea at Together, and a dine-around dinner across six speciality restaurants or the buffet. Seven bars, a sports bar that never closes, a minibar restocked daily, snorkelling gear, the water park and a fifty dollar spa credit per adult per stay.
What is not included? +
Arigato, the Japanese restaurant, runs at half menu price rather than free. Diving, big game fishing, kitesurfing, electric go-karting, the Gaadiyaa food cart and anything at the spa beyond the fifty dollar per-stay credit are all charged. Babysitting can be booked 24 hours ahead for an extra charge.
Is Siyam World good for families, and which villa should children have? +
It is one of the strongest family islands in the Maldives: the country's biggest floating water park, a kids club with its own pool, a horse ranch, a full-size football field and padel, tennis and basketball courts. Two children under twelve stay and eat free sharing with you. Book a beach category rather than an overwater one, because the water villas are not recommended for young children.
Is there a house reef you can snorkel? +
Yes, but it is patchy rather than continuous. The best stretch is off the overwater jetty near Takrai, the Thai restaurant, where guests report vibrant tropical fish, reef sharks, stingrays and turtles within a short swim. Coral condition is the weak point rather than the marine life, and snorkelling straight off a beach villa is usually less rewarding. Gear is free from the dive centre and the marine biologist runs guided snorkels.
Are taxes included in the price? +
The Maldivian ones are. T-GST, green tax and the service charge are all inside the price, along with return seaplane transfers for two people per bedroom, and nothing further is added at check-out for the all-inclusive plan itself. Indian TCS is the exception: it is a separate addition on the total invoice value, collected when you pay and shown as its own line. The current rate is on our Taxes and TCS page.
Can we book Christmas or New Year? +
Not from the dropdown on this page, which runs to 20 December. Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve at Siyam World carry compulsory gala dinners, and the regular menus and in-villa dining are not available on those two nights, so we price those dates individually. Ask us and we will quote them.
What do honeymooners get? +
A bottle of sparkling wine and a fruit basket on arrival, a honeymoon dinner for two at one of the a la carte restaurants once during the stay, a turndown with bed decoration on the first night and a celebration cake. You need at least three nights and a marriage certificate dated less than twelve months before check-in.
How do I book or ask a question? +
Message our team on WhatsApp at +91 98112 03263 or use the enquiry form on this page. Tell us your travel dates, how many adults and children, and which villa you have in mind, and we will come back with a costing that includes transfers.
