Siyam World is a marine-life island rather than a coral island. The best stretch runs off the overwater jetty near Takrai, the Thai restaurant, where guests report vibrant tropical fish, reef sharks, stingrays and turtles within a short swim. Elsewhere the reef is patchy, and people who snorkel straight off a beach villa tend to call it fine rather than memorable. Coral condition is the weak point here, not the fish. The overwater categories sit closest to the good water, gear is free from the dive centre, and the marine biologist runs a guided snorkel worth taking. Tell us if snorkelling matters and we will place you accordingly.

Seaplane guests use the resort's own lounge at the terminal, and the resort aims to fly you out within three hours of checking in there. A flight home before 09:00 means travelling back the previous afternoon.
About the resort
Siyam World has a horse ranch, electric go-karts, a full-size football pitch and the biggest floating water park in the Maldives, all on one island in Noonu Atoll. The all-inclusive plan runs round the clock, and the sports bar never closes.
This is a busy holiday, built for families with children to keep entertained and for friends travelling together. Every villa priced on this page has its own pool, and the water and lagoon villas add a slide straight into the lagoon.
What you pay
Pick your dates and a villa and the price is the whole stay: the villa, the 24-hour all-inclusive plan, the return seaplane and every Maldivian tax. Villas are priced for two adults, and the two and three bedroom villas for two adults per bedroom.
The beach villa and the water villa are the same price. A Sunset Pool Beach Villa and a Water Villa with Pool + Slide come to the same figure over three nights, so choose on where you want to wake up.
The fourth night is the good value one, adding about a tenth to a three-night stay. Later in the autumn the three-night figure itself steps up by about a fifth.
These prices carry a booking deadline and a travel window. Ask us to confirm both for your dates.
What's included, and what isn't
In the price: your villa, breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and a dine-around dinner at six speciality restaurants or the buffet, drinks at seven bars, a minibar restocked daily, snorkel gear, the water park, a spa credit per adult, the return seaplane and every Maldivian tax, green tax included.
Not in the price: your international flights, travel insurance, Arigato the Japanese restaurant (half the menu price), diving, big game fishing, kitesurfing, go-karting, the Gaadiyaa food cart, spa treatments beyond the credit, babysitting, Indian TCS, and anything not named above.
Who this isn't for
Couples who want a quiet island. Seven bars, six speciality restaurants, a water park and a bar that never shuts make for a lively place. The activity is the point.
Snorkellers who come for coral. The fish are the strength here, not the reef. The best stretch is off the overwater jetty by Takrai, the Thai restaurant, where guests see reef sharks, rays and turtles. From a beach villa it is fine rather than memorable.
Parents of toddlers set on a water villa. The overwater villas are not recommended for young children, so book a beach category.
Before you book
Land at Velana by 15:30 for the seaplane. The 40-minute flight runs in daylight only. After that, the route is a 30-minute domestic flight to Maafaru and a short speedboat, which runs after dark. Send us your flight times and we will pick the route, so you do not lose a night in Malé.
Seaplane guests wait in the resort's own lounge at the terminal, and the resort aims to fly you out within three hours. Bags are 20 kg checked and 5 kg cabin on both routes. A flight home before 09:00 means travelling back the previous afternoon.
The festive period is not priced on this page. Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve carry compulsory gala dinners. We can still book it.

Where is Siyam World?
Siyam World is in Noonu Atoll, in the north of the Maldives, 40 minutes from Velana by seaplane. It is a big island with a horse ranch, electric go-karts, a full-size football pitch and a floating water park, and a buggy or a Moke is the sensible way to get around. This page prices twelve of its villa categories, and every one has its own pool.
How do I get to Siyam World?
Fly into Velana International Airport in Malé. From there it is a 40-minute seaplane, which flies in daylight only, so you need to land before 15:30 to reach the island the same afternoon. The alternative is a 30-minute domestic flight to Maafaru International Airport and a speedboat, and that route runs after dark.
What does the WOW! All-Inclusive plan cover?
It runs 24 hours. Breakfast at Baraabaru or Tempo, lunch at Tempo, Together, Shipwrecked or Jungali, afternoon tea at Together, and a dine-around dinner across six speciality restaurants or the buffet. Seven bars, a sports bar that never closes, a minibar restocked daily, snorkelling gear, the water park and a spa credit for each adult, once per stay.
What is not included?
Arigato, the Japanese restaurant, runs at half menu price rather than free. Diving, big game fishing, kitesurfing, electric go-karting, the Gaadiyaa food cart and anything at the spa beyond the spa credit are all charged. Babysitting can be booked 24 hours ahead for an extra charge.
Is Siyam World good for families, and which villa should children have?
Yes, it is built for them. There is the biggest floating water park in the Maldives, a horse ranch, electric go-karts and a full-size football pitch. Two children under twelve stay and eat free when they share with two adults. Book a beach category rather than an overwater one, because the water villas are not recommended for young children. The Beach Suite with Pool takes two adults and three children.
Is there a house reef you can snorkel?
Yes, but it is patchy rather than continuous. The best stretch is off the overwater jetty near Takrai, the Thai restaurant, where guests report vibrant tropical fish, reef sharks, stingrays and turtles within a short swim. Coral condition is the weak point rather than the marine life, and snorkelling straight off a beach villa is usually less rewarding. Gear is free from the dive centre and the marine biologist runs guided snorkels.
Are taxes included in the price?
Yes. Every Maldivian tax is inside the price, along with the all-inclusive plan and the return seaplane for two people per bedroom, and nothing more is added at check-out for the plan itself. Indian TCS is the exception. It is added on the total invoice value when you pay, and the current rate is on our Taxes and TCS page.
Can we book Christmas or New Year?
Not from the prices on this page: the festive period is not priced here. Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve at Siyam World carry compulsory gala dinners, and the regular menus and in-villa dining are not available on those two nights, so we price those dates individually. Ask us and we will quote them.
What do honeymooners get?
A bottle of sparkling wine and a fruit basket on arrival, a honeymoon dinner for two at one of the à la carte restaurants once during the stay, a turndown with bed decoration on the first night and a celebration cake. You need at least three nights and a marriage certificate dated less than twelve months before check-in.

Siyam World is amazing
Although the reviews say the reef in Siyam is not the best there were always plenty of sharks, stingrays and turtles to be seen. Snorkelling equipment is also provided free of charge...
The most active and beautiful hotel in Maldives
