Every villa at Amingiri has its own pool, the island is 20 minutes from the airport by speedboat, and the house reef is a named North Malé dive site. On this offer three nights in a Beach Pool Villa with half board is ₹3,28,500 for two, all in from Malé.

Two things make it worth reading properly. Until 30 September the speedboat is free, both ways, for everyone in the villa. And up to two children under 12 stay free, with their meals and their transfers, right through to 20 December. Bookings on both rate bands close 30 September 2026.

What this actually costs

Totals for two adults for the whole stay. Includes the villa and its pool, the meal plan, return shared premium speedboat transfers, green tax, 10% service charge and 17% government tax. Flights to Malé are not included. Minimum stay is three nights.

Most of the October jump is the boat, not the room

A three-night Beach Pool Villa on half board goes from ₹3,28,500 to ₹4,16,800 on 1 October. That looks like a 27% seasonal rise. It is not.

₹46,300 of that ₹88,300 is the transfer. Until 30 September the shared premium speedboat is complimentary for everyone in the villa. From 1 October you pay it at 25% off, which is about ₹46,300 for two adults return. The room itself only rises about ₹42,000.

So if your dates are flexible by a week either side of the end of September, the difference is larger than the calendar suggests. And if you are travelling as a family, the free transfer covers the children too, which is where it really tells.

Children, and the line at twelve

Up to two children under 12 stay free to 20 December 2026. That covers the villa, half board on the kids' menu, and their return shared transfers. Green tax of USD 12 per person per night still applies to them.

Put a number on it. Two children aged 6 to 11 on a five-night stay would otherwise cost USD 145 each per night for the villa plus USD 150 each for transfers. That is USD 1,750, roughly ₹1,80,000, and the offer removes it.

Now the warning. The offer stops at 12. A teenager aged 12 to 17.99 carries an accommodation supplement of USD 181 per night plus USD 300 for transfers, and an adult 18 or over is USD 350 per night plus USD 300. If you have one child of 11 and one of 13, only the younger travels free. Tell us the ages at enquiry and we will cost it properly rather than let it surface at the end.

A third child aged 6 to 11.99 is charged at USD 145 per night but still gets the complimentary half board and transfers.

The One-Bedroom Family Beach Pool Villa is the one built for this, and it costs only ₹12,400 more than the standard Beach Pool Villa on three nights. That buys a proper sofa bed, more outdoor space, a swing and a gazebo. It is the easiest upgrade decision on this page.

Half board or full board

Half board is included on every villa in the offer, so full board is a straight lunch upgrade. It costs USD 100 net per adult per night, which works out at about ₹20,600 a night for two. Across three nights that is ₹61,700; across seven it is ₹1,44,100.

Our honest read: that is roughly what a proper lunch for two costs here, so it is close to break-even. Take it if you know you will sit down to lunch every day. Skip it if you will graze at the pool bar on some days, and pay as you go. Children aged 6 to 11.99 upgrade at USD 50 per night.

The house reef, and a question to ask before you book

The reef here has a name, Neru Faru, and it is a genuine North Malé dive site, sloping from two metres to twenty-five with healthy hard coral, reef sharks, turtles and nurse sharks. The island is man-made and the reef has been filling in since 2022, but it is already better than most of what sits within half an hour of Malé.

Here is the catch. Guests report that only one side of the overwater villas faces the reef, and that snorkelling is not permitted on the other side. If the water is why you are going, that is not a detail to discover on arrival. Ask us and we will confirm which side your villa sits on before you commit.

The water under the villas is deep, so there is no coral underfoot. That suits nervous swimmers and children.

Which villa

Beach Pool Villa is the entry and the value pick. Family Beach Pool Villa is ₹12,400 more and worth it for anyone with a child. Overwater Pool Villa is ₹22,200 above the Beach Pool Villa on three nights, which is the cheapest overwater upgrade we sell at this standard. Overwater Suite with Pool adds a separate living room and glass floor panels for ₹79,000 above the entry villa.

Every one of them has a private pool. There is no non-pool category at Amingiri.

Cancellation and payment

For stays to 20 December 2026: full payment is due 15 days before arrival, and cancelling inside 15 days costs 100% of the invoice. There is no partial-refund tier. Cancel earlier than that and you owe nothing.

Generous until the 15-day mark, unforgiving after it. Put the date in your calendar and buy travel insurance when you book.

Who this isn't for

Amingiri is a large, lively, family-capable resort with one of the biggest kids' clubs in the Maldives, live entertainment and DJ parties. If you want a hushed adults-only island, this is not it.

It is also 20 minutes from Velana on a man-made island, so you will not feel remote and the reef is young. What you get for that is a transfer at any hour, no seaplane cut-off, and no wasted night in Malé.

Not in the tables above

Two-Bedroom Overwater Pool Villa and Two-Bedroom Beach Pool Villa are priced on four guests rather than two, so they do not belong in a double-occupancy grid. Both are in the offer. The Residence is a six-bedroom house and is quoted separately.

Festive, 21 December 2026 to 9 January 2027, has to be booked by 31 October and carries mandatory gala dinners that sit on top of the room rate: USD 400 per adult on Christmas Eve and USD 600 per adult on New Year's Eve. No check-out is permitted on 31 December. The one-bedroom villas are available; only the two-bedroom categories are blacked out. Not loaded here because the gala charges depend on which nights you stay. Ask early.

Two booking rules worth knowing. A split stay needs at least two consecutive nights in each villa category, so the minimum split is 2+2, not 2+1. And an enquiry for ten villas or more is treated as a group booking and has to go to the resort directly.

Getting there

A 20-minute shared premium speedboat from Velana International Airport, running around the clock. No daylight restriction, no seaplane, no overnight in Malé if your flight lands late.
