What Our Guests Say

Rated Travellers' Choice on TripAdvisor

Amazing experience

We had an amazing 3-day stay at this beautiful resort, and every moment exceeded our expectations. The resort was stunning, the rooms were comfortable and spotless, the food was delicious, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the exceptional hospitality from the staff. A special thank you to Maaiz, Gayan, Afrah, Zaidh, Aiham, and Adam for going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

Incredible Maldives experience with exceptional service

We loved our time at Four Seasons Kuda Huraa. What an experience! From the moment we arrived on the boat, the team looked after us with 6-star service. The island is breathtaking and so luxurious. The spa is simply gorgeous and a beautiful experience on its own island. The rooms are spacious, super comfortable and modern and the beach is simply stunning. But most of all it is the service from the incredible staff that sets this resort apart. Wonderful for families and children — our 10 year old simply loved it!

The Best of the Best in Hospitality Industry

What we experienced at Four Seasons Kuda Huraa was a legendary level in the hospitality industry. We have never been so impressed by a team of exceptional leaders who are so involved in every layer of service. The staff here is simply amazing. The entire staff is courteous, thoughtful and friendly. These are truly valuable assets to Four Seasons — they are the reasons why we continue to come back to visit FS Kuda Huraa.

Incredible experience with the best staff

Four Seasons Kuda Huraa was one of the best experiences I've had in the Maldives. Every aspect was amazing, the attention to detail was incredible, and most importantly ran by the best people. The staff go above and beyond for their guests and it truly makes your time here feel special. Our dining experience was so incredible that every day we woke up excited to enjoy the food. I had the most incredible time during my Nurse shark snorkel tour, Dolphin Cruise, and local island visit — made even better by the incredible guides Mansoor and Akram, who were so knowledgeable and warm. The staff at Four Seasons genuinely connect with their guests on another level.

Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa

Regular price₹ 261,800
/
Double occupancy, half board, return speedboat transfers, service charge, GST and green tax included · valid until 20 Dec 2026

The India-market rate, live to 20 December 2026

Four Seasons has released its India-market offer on both Maldives resorts. At Kuda Huraa it takes 20% off the contracted villa rate, includes half board for two, and covers the speedboat both ways at no charge. Three nights in a Deluxe Beach Pavilion with Pool works out at ₹2,61,800 for two people, all in from Malé.

Every villa on this island has its own pool. The transfer is a 25-minute speedboat that runs around the clock, so unlike the seaplane islands there is no arrival cut-off and no night stranded in Malé.

What this actually costs

Figures are the total for two adults for the whole stay, not per night. They include the villa, daily breakfast, the half-board dinner upgrade for two, return speedboat transfers for two, green tax, service charge and GST. Flights to Malé are not included.

Reading the two tables together

The seasonal step from September to October is not uniform, and that is the single most useful thing on this page.

  • The water villas barely move. Sunrise Water rises about 10%, Sunset Water about 12%. If you want to be over the lagoon, October to December costs you almost nothing extra over the green season.
  • The family villas jump nearly 40%. Sunrise Family Beach goes from ₹5,92,800 to ₹8,20,000 for the same three nights. Families travelling on school holidays pay for the calendar, not the villa.
  • The ranking flips. Before October the Sunset Beach Villa undercuts the Sunrise Water Villa. From October the Sunrise Water Villa is the cheaper of the two. Same island, same nights, opposite answer.
  • The Family Water Villa is worth a look for couples in the green season. At ₹5,03,800 for three nights it sits below the Sunset Water Villa, and you get a great deal more room. That inverts from October, when it costs ₹1,13,600 more.

What is in the price, and what is not

Included: the villa with its private pool, daily buffet breakfast at Café Huraa for two, the complimentary upgrade to half board for two (à la carte dine-around dinner), return shared speedboat transfers for two, green tax, 28.7% combined service charge and GST, premium Wi-Fi, the Marine Discovery Centre, non-motorised water sports, snorkelling gear, gym and tennis.

Not included: flights to Malé, all drinks including soft drinks, lunch, spa, diving, motorised water sports and excursions. Half board here means food, not a bar tab. Budget for drinks honestly at a Four Seasons.

Family villas include breakfast for four rather than two. The half-board upgrade covers two adults, or two adults plus one child in a family room. Full board is available and we will price it for you, but the contract does not publish the upgrade cost from complimentary half board, so we confirm it with the resort before quoting rather than guessing.

Honeymooners get welcome fruit, a souvenir gift, champagne and a cake. Tell us at the time of booking, not at check-in.

Book both islands and the seaplane is free

Four Seasons runs an offer called Paradise Twice. Three or more nights here combined with three or more nights at Landaa Giraavaru earns complimentary round-trip seaplane transfers for two. On a Landaa stay that is worth roughly ₹2,43,000, which is most of what a second island costs you.

It is the strongest two-centre proposition in the Maldives right now: a busy, sporty island near the airport, then a quiet one in a UNESCO biosphere. Ask us to price the pair together. We check the combinability with Four Seasons on every enquiry rather than assuming it stacks with the India offer.

Which villa, honestly

Deluxe Beach Pavilion with Pool is the value story on this island by a wide margin. The next villa up costs 54% more for the same three nights. If your budget is the binding constraint, take it and spend the difference on the surf boat and a spa afternoon.

Sunrise versus sunset matters more here than at most resorts, and not for the reason people assume. The sunrise side is where the snorkelling is. Guests on that side get in off their own steps two or three times a day. The sunset side gives you the evening light and a longer walk to decent coral.

Water villas are the right call from October, when they cost barely more than the green season. In August and September the beach villas are better value.

Families should look hard at the dates before the villa. A week in a Sunrise Family Beach Villa is ₹13,83,000 in September and ₹19,13,200 in November. If your dates are flexible at all, that is the decision.

The house reef, without the gloss

This is not why you come to Kuda Huraa. Ask for the sunrise side and it works: guests there snorkel straight off the villa, several times a day. The other side of the jetty carries a current and little healthy coral, and the eastern reef dries out at low tide. The coral gardens, where the marine team is growing new coral on frames, are the best water on the island and worth the short swim.

There is a working turtle rehabilitation centre, which children remember longer than the villa. Fine for a first-timer. A seasoned snorkeller will want Baa Atoll.

The surf, which is why serious people come

Kuda Huraa has an on-site Tropicsurf operation and six quality reef breaks within boat range. Beginners learn in the sheltered lagoon. The resort hosts the annual Surfing Champions Trophy. If someone in your party surfs, this is the Maldives resort that takes it seriously, and no other Four Seasons property in the country comes close on this.

The Island Spa

The only spa in the Maldives on its own separate island, two minutes away by boat. Thatched treatment pavilions open onto the water. Daily group yoga on the ocean platform is complimentary; private sessions with the resident yogi are not.

Dining

Five venues. Baraabaru is overwater Indian, which matters more than it sounds if you are travelling with parents or want a real vegetarian dinner rather than a grudging one. Reef Club does Tuscan. Café Huraa handles breakfast and all-day dining. Kandu Grill is seafood. Plus the poolside bar.

Families

The Kuda Mas Kids' Club runs supervised crafts, beach games, snorkelling, yoga and cooking classes. Children under 12 stay free sharing with parents, space permitting. The two family villa categories and the two- and three-bedroom suites are built for this, and the suites sit outside this offer, so ask us and we will price them separately.

Who this isn't for

If you want a remote island, this is the wrong one. Kuda Huraa is 25 minutes from the airport in North Malé Atoll, it has 96 villas, and it is busy. That is the trade for a transfer that runs at any hour and never strands you overnight.

If the house reef is the point of your trip, go to Baa Atoll. If you want a wristband and an open bar, this is half board with drinks charged, and it will feel expensive by day three. And if you are after silence, the surf crowd and the kids' club are both audible.

Getting there

A 25-minute speedboat from Velana International Airport, available 24 hours. Send flight details at least three days ahead. Check-in is 14:00, check-out 12:00.

Stays from 21 December fall outside this offer and carry compulsory Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve dinners. Ask us before you fix festive dates.

Tell us your dates, your villa and whether anyone in the party surfs, and we will come back with a transfer-inclusive costing and an honest read on whether the second island is worth it. Message our Maldives specialists on WhatsApp or send us an enquiry. We reply within 24 hours.

House reef 3/5 Fine

You will enjoy it. You would not cross an atoll for it.

Ask for the sunrise side and this works. Guests there snorkel two or three times a day straight off the villa. The other side of the jetty has a current and little healthy coral, and the eastern reef dries out at low tide. The coral gardens, where the marine team is growing new coral, are the best snorkelling on the island and worth the short swim. There is a working turtle rehabilitation centre too, which children remember longer than the villa. Fine for a first-timer; a seasoned snorkeller would want more.
