Paradise in the Maldives

I stayed at this splendid property about 30 minutes by speedboat from Malé, and having been to the Maldives 15 times, this resort is at the top of my favorites... everything was perfect!! Super new property, beautiful room, high-level à la carte restaurant, super kind and helpful staff, perfect cleanliness, wonderful lagoons. I hope to return soon.

Unforgettable diving!

This was my second visit, and this hotel is so perfect! Especially once again it was an unforgettable diving experience. We saw eagle rays, sharks, many sea turtles, Napoleon wrasse, stingrays, and dogtooth tuna, while countless colorful tropical fish decorated the reefs. Not only were the dive instructors highly professional and kind, but the boat crew was also incredibly kind and attentive. In my opinion, this resort offers the best collection of dive sites I have experienced.

One in a million

Our 3rd time to Cocoa Island and wow this place is so special. The short boat ride from the airport and you arrive in paradise! Definition of understated luxury. Water villas are fantastic — windows on all walls give you fantastic views. The main thing that makes Cocoa Island is the staff. All were just brilliant, from our butler, bar and restaurant staff, housekeeping and the dive staff. Insider tip: Just book it!!

Cocoa Island of our dreams!!

We've been to 4 COMOs in the span of the last 3 months. Cocoa Island has been the most incredible experience. The staff. The food. The beach. The massages. Truly everything. Thank you Cocoa Island and thank you Muru for such a genuine and personalized butler service. It was a joy to see you every morning and to receive your kindness.

COMO Cocoa Island

Regular price₹ 340,000
/
Whole stay for two adults, half board, return shared speedboat, all taxes included except TCS · valid until 30 Sep 2026

Cocoa Island is a 40-minute speedboat from the airport, and the boat runs day and night, so a late landing from India costs you nothing. Three nights in a Dhoni Water Villa is ₹340,000 for two, all in from Malé.

That price carries 25 per cent off the villa rate. Book by 30 September 2026 and it holds for any stay up to 19 December. Breakfast and a three-course lunch or dinner each day sit inside the figure, along with return transfers and every tax.

What this actually costs

Pick a villa and a length above and the number is the whole stay for two adults: the villa, half board, the return shared speedboat, green tax and every other tax. International flights are not in it.

  • Travel before 30 September and you save about ₹49,700 on three nights in the entry villa against the same stay in November. The gap widens as you move up the range.
  • Seven nights is the sweet spot if you are celebrating. At four to six nights the resort adds champagne, a daily fruit platter, a gift and a US$60 spa credit each. At seven the credit gives way to a 60-minute treatment for two and a candlelit dinner. Five nights to seven costs about ₹178,600 in the Dhoni Water Villa.
  • Upgrades run per adult per night: full board US$60, the drinks package US$140. A third guest aged 12 or over is US$250 a night.

Two children under 12 stay free in their parents' villa, on the same meal plan, from the children's menu. An infant under two travels free with no boat charge and no green tax.

Who this isn't for

Anyone who wants sand outside the door. Every villa here stands over the lagoon. Only the One Bedroom Water Villa with Pool and the two multi-bedroom villas have a private pool, so if a pool matters, budget for the jump.

Larger families, too. The Dhoni Water Villa sleeps three and the rest sleep four. The Sunrise and Sunset villas go further, but there is one of each on the island, so ask early. The surf crowd arrives roughly March to October, which some couples love and some very much do not.

Before you book

  • The house reef starts at your own steps rather than a boat ride away. That is the main reason snorkellers pick this island over its neighbours.
  • You can pair it with COMO Maalifushi on one trip: boat down here, seaplane across, seaplane home. Ask and we will cost the loop.
  • Full payment reaches the resort 14 days before arrival. Cancelling 14 to 8 days out costs 50 per cent, within 7 days 100 per cent. Late arrivals, no-shows and early departures are charged in full.

Send us your dates and your villa and we will come back with a transfer-inclusive costing and confirm the offer is still open on those dates before you commit. Message our Maldives specialists on WhatsApp or send us an enquiry. We reply within 24 hours.
