Paradise in the Maldives

I stayed at this splendid property about 30 minutes by speedboat from Malé, and having been to the Maldives 15 times, this resort is at the top of my favorites... everything was perfect!! Super new property, beautiful room, high-level à la carte restaurant, super kind and helpful staff, perfect cleanliness, wonderful lagoons. I hope to return soon.

Unforgettable diving!

This was my second visit, and this hotel is so perfect! Especially once again it was an unforgettable diving experience. We saw eagle rays, sharks, many sea turtles, Napoleon wrasse, stingrays, and dogtooth tuna, while countless colorful tropical fish decorated the reefs. Not only were the dive instructors highly professional and kind, but the boat crew was also incredibly kind and attentive. In my opinion, this resort offers the best collection of dive sites I have experienced.

One in a million

Our 3rd time to Cocoa Island and wow this place is so special. The short boat ride from the airport and you arrive in paradise! Definition of understated luxury. Water villas are fantastic — windows on all walls give you fantastic views. The main thing that makes Cocoa Island is the staff. All were just brilliant, from our butler, bar and restaurant staff, housekeeping and the dive staff. Insider tip: Just book it!!

Cocoa Island of our dreams!!

We've been to 4 COMOs in the span of the last 3 months. Cocoa Island has been the most incredible experience. The staff. The food. The beach. The massages. Truly everything. Thank you Cocoa Island and thank you Muru for such a genuine and personalized butler service. It was a joy to see you every morning and to receive your kindness.

COMO Cocoa Island

Regular price₹ 355,100
/
Double occupancy, breakfast and one three-course meal daily, return shared speedboat transfers, service charge, taxes and green tax included · valid until 19 Dec 2026

Cocoa Island is a 40-minute speedboat from the airport, and the boat runs around the clock, so a late arrival from India costs you nothing. Three nights in a Dhoni Water Villa is ₹318,000 for two, all in from Malé.

The rate is breakfast plus a three-course lunch or dinner each day, your choice of which, with return transfers, a 60-minute COMO Shambhala massage and one beach dinner under the stars inside it. Bookable to 19 December 2026.

What this actually costs

Pick a villa and a package above and the figure is the whole stay for two adults: the villa, the meal plan, return shared speedboat transfers, green tax and every other tax. International flights are not in it. Four, five and six nights price off the extra-night rate.

  • Travel before 30 September. The entry villa is about ₹60,000 cheaper than the same stay from October. The saving shrinks as you move up the range: only about ₹21,000 on the One Bedroom Villa with Pool.
  • If you want a loft, book the later window. The step from the Dhoni Water Villa to the Loft Water Villa is ₹37,100 between May and September, and only ₹17,300 from October. The upgrade costs less than half as much in the shoulder season.
  • Full board is USD 360 per stay for two, or USD 120 a night, about ₹37,000 across three nights. It is not sold for children.

Honeymoon and anniversary amenities stack with this rate, which most India packages do not allow. Tell us you are celebrating at the time of booking and we will have both attached.

Who this isn’t for

Families who need connecting rooms or a kids’ club. Cocoa Island is small, quiet and built around couples and wellness. Maximum occupancy is four, using one extra bed and one day bed, and there is no category designed for a family beyond that.

Every villa here stands over the water, so if you want to step off your deck onto sand this is the wrong island. Only the One Bedroom Villa with Pool has a private pool. The surf crowd arrives roughly March to October, which some couples enjoy and some very much do not.

Before you book

  • An infant under two travels free, with no speedboat charge and no green tax. A child aged 2 to 11.99 sharing with parents takes the same meal plan, on the children’s menu.
  • The reef is swimmable straight from your own steps rather than by boat, which is the main reason snorkellers pick this island over its neighbours.
  • Full payment must reach the resort at least 14 days before arrival.
  • Cancellation. 50% of the rate between 14 and 8 days before arrival, 100% within 7 days. Late arrivals, no-shows and early departures are charged in full, without exception.

Tell us your dates and your villa and we will come back with a transfer-inclusive costing, and confirm the rate is still open on your dates before you commit to anything. Message our Maldives specialists on WhatsApp or send us an enquiry. We reply within 24 hours.
