Very good. The food, the room facilities are very good! My children especially loved the large pool in the room, and Ikigai's Filipino chef was particularly good and also performed teppanyaki. The kids' club teachers are also very good. The receptionist's Chinese customer service Tongxin is also excellent, patient and warm!

Amazing place

Near airport and easy seaplane transfer. Relaxed vibe with great rooms. Stayed in 2 bedroom beach villa and daughter stayed in water villa. Great for families. Good value on the all inclusive. Will definitely come back. Staff are all lovely and very hospitable.

Nine restaurants, and one is Asian Food Street: four kitchens doing Maldivian, Thai, Korean and Indian. For anyone bringing parents who want a proper Indian dinner rather than a grudging one, that settles it.

Two islands, joined by an overwater walkway in North Ari, twenty minutes out by seaplane. Three nights for two in a Beach Pool Villa on half board, seaplane and every Maldivian tax inside the figure, starts at ₹282,200.

What you pay

Pick a villa and a length above. Every figure is the whole stay for two adults: the villa and its pool, the return seaplane and every Maldivian tax. Nothing lands at check-out.

Every Deluxe villa and every Residence is 15% off the room rate from 1 November to 23 December. Five nights in a Deluxe Beach Pool Villa drops from ₹592,800 to ₹520,100 for two. The discount is already in the prices above. Book by 31 October.

Stay five nights or more on those categories and each adult gets a spa credit, against a massage of an hour or longer at Kandu Spa, once in the stay. Reason enough to take five rather than four.

The seaplane is a fixed lump in every price, the same on three nights as on ten, so a week works out roughly a fifth cheaper per night than three.

Overwater is cheaper here than the deluxe beach villa, which is unusual, and lagoon view is the cheapest upgrade on the island.

A separate 15% offer runs on the Two Bedroom Beach Pool Villa, booked by 15 October.

What’s included, and what isn’t

In the price: the villa and its private pool, half board, the return seaplane for everyone in the room, and every Maldivian tax.

Not in the price: your international flights, travel insurance, all drinks, the spa, excursions and diving, Indian TCS, and anything not named above.

Half board here is a partial dine-around, carrying a daily dinner credit per adult towards the a la carte rooms. Half Board Plus adds the drinks list, and a full dine-around all-inclusive sits above that. Tell us how you eat and we will price all three.

Who this isn’t for

Anyone after a small barefoot island. Two islands, 109 villas, nine restaurants and a nightclub. Busy by design, and it does not pretend otherwise.

Anyone landing late. Seaplanes fly 06:00 to 16:00, there is no boat alternative to ananea Madivaru Maldives, and an evening arrival means a night in Malé at your own expense. Send us your flights first.

Couples on their own cannot book the Two Bedroom Beach Pool Villa or either two-bedroom Residence. The resort sets a minimum of three adults, or two adults and a child over six. These prices do not apply to bookings from the UK, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France, South Korea or China.

Before you book

Children under six stay and eat free on their parents’ plan, though green tax and the seaplane fare apply from age two. Six to eleven carries a nightly rate; from twelve, the adult one.

Cancellation is generous early and unforgiving late. Nothing to pay until sixteen days out, then half to seven days, three quarters to twenty-four hours, the full stay inside that.

Festive, 24 December to 10 January, is not sold at these prices. Compulsory dinners land on 24 and 31 December, with a five-night minimum across the New Year. We build those by hand.

House reef 4/5 Strong

Worth choosing the resort for. One or two caveats on entry point or current.

This is two islands, and only the eastern one gives you the reef, so book a beach villa there if snorkelling matters. From that shore the coral starts close in, and the stretches by the spa and near Luna are the ones guests single out, with blacktips including juveniles, nurse sharks, rays and turtles all reported. The water villas on the north island sit over lagoon, with a shallow rocky patch below some decks that is not somewhere to jump in. The resort is young, so the picture is still forming. Tell us snorkelling is the priority and we will place you accordingly.
