How To enjoy a lazy, relaxing Maldivian holiday!

A general myth about the Maldives serving ample opportunities & activities for the adventure-enthusiasts is quite misleading. Guests travelling to these magical isles are offered both adventurous and relaxing or non-adventurous activities as per their independent choices to enjoy an interesting holiday.

If there are ample of water sports for the aqua-fanatics then, there are no less options for the lazy bums to float in an infinity swimming pool or simply take dips and laps in the turqouise lagoon nearby, with a direct access from your own villas (both water and beach depending upon the resort you choose to stay-in).

Spend a perfect tropical relaxing vacay in the Maldives. Not every travel needs to be adventure-specific.

Below are few of such non-adventurous, yet interesting activities to indulge in.

Time Travel to The Past

A visit to the National Museum, situated in Sultan Park, Male, would make an interesting non-adventurous holiday. Established on the National Day of the Maldives, by the Prime Minister Mohamed Amin Didi; this museum takes you to the era of history and culture of Maldives. A wide collection of historical work of arts, including royal artefacts and antiquity, and stone objects from the Buddhist era and Islamic monarchs are a real delight to devour for the culture-vultures.

The National Museum is at a 40-minute drive from the Maldives airport. Adult tickets cost Rf100 and children's tickets cost Rf20. The museum is closed on Fridays and Saturdays. However, don't fail to visit 10 AM to 5 AM from Monday to Thursday.
