Two deadlines, and the near one is 1 September. The Paradise Escape package every price above is built on has to be booked by 15 September. Separately, December stays carry a 20% early bird that closes on 1 September, worth ₹70,000 on five nights in the beach villa. If December is what you want, that is a two-day decision.
Baa Atoll, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, thirty minutes by seaplane. Sixty-nine villas, every one with a private pool. These prices are India-market only, with the seaplane and the green tax for two already inside them.
What this actually costs
Every figure above is two adults sharing, with the return seaplane and the green tax already in the price, along with every other tax. Nothing further is payable for the room, the flights or the tax.
- Book full board and the resort upgrades you to all inclusive at no charge. On the beach villa that step costs ₹61,700 on four nights and ₹108,000 on seven over half board, and it buys a plan that otherwise costs ₹82,400 and ₹144,100 more. Do not buy the all-inclusive line directly.
- Two children up to 15.99 stay and eat free. Eleven is the usual cut-off in the Maldives. Five nights in the Deluxe Beach Villa is ₹474,200 for a couple and ₹544,000 with two children, so the pair adds ₹69,800. They pay their transfer and the green tax and nothing else.
- Split the stay and save. Two nights on the beach then two overwater is ₹407,500 to 30 September, against ₹430,400 for four straight overwater nights. It is not on the dropdown, so ask us.
- Three nights is bookable on everything except the Deluxe Beach Villa, also off the dropdown: ₹320,900 on the beach and ₹355,200 overwater, to 30 September.
Who this isn’t for
Anyone travelling with a child who wants the cheapest beach villa. The 140 sqm Beach Villa Pool takes two adults and an infant and nothing else. The resort keeps a twin-bedded Family Beach Villa Pool at the same price that does take two children, and a Family Deluxe a tier up. Ask us for those by name.
Anyone landing late, because the seaplane flies in daylight and the domestic connection is not guaranteed the same day. Anyone counting on Marriott Bonvoy points, which rates booked this way do not earn. And anyone who cannot commit by 15 September.
Before you book
- Thirty minutes by seaplane, daylight only, with the resort's own lounge at the terminal and check-in done there. The alternative is a 25 minute domestic flight to Dharavandhoo and a 15 minute speedboat, and the resort takes ₹14,400 off any stay for two who go that way.
- Free cancellation up to seven days before arrival on the dates covering this page, fourteen days in high season. Inside that window it is the full stay, and nothing comes back for leaving early. The resort also holds a refundable USD 200 per villa per night at check-in against incidentals.
- December is priced separately and the step is steep: 24% in the beach villa, 53% in the Heavenly Overwater Villa. Beyond 25 December we build the festive dates by hand.
