SO/ Maldives is fifteen minutes from the airport by speedboat, and the boats run around the clock. No seaplane, no daylight cut-off, no night in Malé when your flight lands late. Accor put its design brand on an island of its own in the Emboodhoo Lagoon: eighty villas, three restaurants, a beach club and a kids club.
Three nights for two, half board with the speedboat both ways and every tax inside, is ₹298,500 on the India summer offer. That offer runs to 30 September 2026.
What this actually costs
Pick a villa and a package above and the price is the whole stay for two: the villa, half board, the return speedboat and every tax. Nothing is added at the resort.
- The beach villas are nearly twice the size of the overwater ones, and they cost less. 228 m² on the sand against 120 m² over the water. Moving to a Water Pool Villa adds ₹41,100 to three nights. On this island the beach is the better buy, which is rare.
- The summer offer is worth ₹161,700 on three nights, and it takes a child free. One child stays, eats from the kids’ menu and travels free in the two-adult villas, two children in the Family and multi-bedroom ones. They pay US$12 a night in green tax and nothing else.
- January is cheaper than October. Four nights in the Beach Pool Villa is ₹719,900 from 1 October to 25 December 2026, ₹678,800 from 11 January 2027 and ₹514,100 next summer. Autumn is the one window with no offer behind it.
- Full board adds ₹36,000 to three nights and the all-inclusive adds ₹97,700. Dinner is three courses à la carte at any of the three restaurants, not a buffet, which makes half board worth more here than it usually is.

Who this isn’t for
Anyone coming to snorkel. The island is new and sits in a developed lagoon, so there is little reef to swim out to. Guests do see sharks and rays, but on the boat trips the resort runs rather than off the beach. If the reef is the point of your holiday, we will send you north instead.
And anyone hoping for Christmas or New Year at these prices. 26 December to 10 January is not sold here, because the New Year gala dinner is compulsory for everyone on the island and the resort accepts no checkout on 30 or 31 December.
Before you book
- Four nights minimum from 1 October, three on the summer offer. Check in 15:00, check out 12:00, and the resort may pre-authorise US$200 a villa a night on arrival.
- Cancellation is unusually hard. Inside 14 days you pay 100% of the whole stay in the quieter months, inside 21 days from January to May, inside 45 days over the festive fortnight. There is no half-charge step.
- A third adult is US$250 a night and a child of four to eleven US$125, both including breakfast. Under-fours stay free and pay only the green tax from their second birthday.
- Honeymoon and anniversary couples get champagne and a resort photoshoot, and a couples’ spa treatment on seven nights or more, on a certificate within twelve months.
