India Package 2026 — and the fourth night is close to free

JA Manafaru sits in Haa Alifu, about as far from Malé as a Maldivian resort gets. Return transfers for two are inside the price, along with green tax, service charge and GST. Three nights half board in a Sunrise Water Villa is ₹2,67,600 for two.

But do not book three. Stay four and the resort upgrades your transfer to a seaplane at no charge, worth about ₹61,800 for two, and throws in fifteen minutes of jet skiing. On the entry villa the fourth night costs ₹65,100 and hands back ₹61,800 of it. Bookings close 30 September 2026.

What this actually costs

Totals for two adults for the whole stay. Includes the villa and its private pool, the meal plan, return transfers for two, lounge access at Malé, green tax, 10% service charge and 17% GST. Flights to Malé are not included.

Do the four-night arithmetic

Everything good on this offer needs four nights. The seaplane upgrade needs four. The jet skiing needs four. And because the seaplane is worth about ₹61,800 for two, the fourth night is nearly free:

Set that against ₹61,800 of seaplane you stop paying for, and on the Sunrise Water Villa the extra night nets out at about ₹3,300. There is no argument for three nights here, and given the journey we would push you to five.

The seaplane matters beyond the money. It lands at the resort's own jetty. The included routing is a domestic flight plus a speedboat, and on the Hanimaadhoo leg that speedboat is forty minutes each way.

Half board or full board

Half board is dine-around: breakfast and dinner at whichever restaurant is operating, three courses at dinner, with JA branded water, tea and coffee at mealtimes. Anything else you drink is charged.

Full board adds lunch and costs USD 70 net per adult per night — about ₹14,400 a night for two. Across four nights that is ₹57,600. Fair value if you eat a proper lunch daily; skip it if you graze.

An all-inclusive plan exists and we can add it. The sheet's own figures for it do not reconcile, so we confirm the supplement with the resort in writing before quoting it rather than give you a number we would have to revise.

One honest caveat the resort states plainly: in quieter months some restaurants close, so the dine-around choice narrows. Ask us which venues are operating on your dates.

Two-villa split stays

Four nights across a beach villa and a water villa, priced as a package:

Worth noticing: the Beach plus Sunrise Water split at ₹3,47,400 is cheaper than four nights in the Beach Villa alone at ₹3,62,200. Two villa types for less than one. The resort decides which order you take them in, depending on availability.

Children travel free

Until 30 September, up to two children under 12 stay, eat, play and travel free — accommodation, meals and their transfers. On a family of four that is the largest single saving on this page.

Beyond those two, a child aged 2 to 11.99 is USD 12 net per night, which is the green tax and nothing else, plus USD 640 for a seaplane seat or USD 320 by domestic flight. An extra adult is USD 162 per night on half board or USD 232 on full board, plus USD 795 or USD 500 for the transfer.

Beach and water villas take two adults, one child and one infant. The Deluxe Beach Villa takes two children, and at 400 m² with a walled garden, a family pool and a waterfall it is the one built for this.

Which villa

The beach villas here are bigger than the water villas, which is the reverse of most resorts: 200 m² against 135 m². If floor space matters more than waking up over the lagoon, that decision makes itself.

Sunrise Water is the entry. Sunset Water costs ₹35,200 more over three nights and buys you the evening light. The Deluxe Beach Villa is 400 m² and the family choice.

Prices rise about 21% across the board on 1 October, which is a normal Q4 step. If your dates are flexible, September is materially cheaper and still inside the booking window.

Getting there

Four routes, and the right one depends on your inbound flight.

That last one is worth knowing about. Hanimaadhoo takes international flights, so you can reach the island without transiting Malé at all. If your routing allows it, it is the shortest door-to-door option by some margin. Ask us before you book flights, not after.

Lounge access at Malé is included: Moonimaa for the domestic transfer, Trans Maldivian's Coral lounge for the seaplane.

Lunch on half board, the spa, The Cellar, the Kuri treehouse and in-villa dining all sit outside the plan.

Honeymoons

On production of a marriage certificate dated within six months of booking: champagne and a fruit platter on arrival, a honeymoon cake, one romantic turndown, and a floating breakfast during the stay. The floating breakfast is overwater villas only. These combine with the package.

Diving and the house reef

A reef runs the whole way round the island and you can enter from your own villa or the beach, which is genuinely unusual. Be clear about what you will find. The fish life is real — turtles, sharks, rays, and night snorkelling guests remember. The coral is thinner than the reach suggests, and the lagoon is wide enough that the drop-off sits a long way out and gets rough on the infinity pool side. Repeat Maldives travellers consistently report it that way and we would rather you heard it from us.

The PADI centre works 33 named sites, among them Vagaaru Garden for mantas and Farukolhu Kandu for nurse sharks. Manta diving and snorkelling are seasonal. If diving is the reason you are going, the sites — rather than the reef off the beach — are what justify the journey north.

Who this isn't for

Short trips. Both the seaplane upgrade and the jet ski need four nights, so three costs you the best inclusions as well as the time.

Anyone whose holiday depends on snorkelling straight off the beach. Budget for excursions if that is the point.

Anyone expecting every meal covered — this is half board unless you upgrade — or anyone who wants a lively island. Eighty-four villas, jungle and banyans. It is quiet, and that is the reason to come.
