This is a 50 minute seaplane from Velana, and seaplanes fly in daylight only. Your flight has to land before 15:00 or you overnight in Malé at your own cost. Get that right and everything else here is easy.
Shaviyani Atoll, far enough north that the reef did not bleach the way most of the country did. Every villa has its own pool and a villa host. Booking closes on 30 September 2026.
What this actually costs
Every figure above is two adults sharing on half board, with the return seaplane for both already inside the price, plus green tax and every other tax. The seaplane is a fixed cost that ignores how many nights you stay, which is why short stays look expensive here and long ones look reasonable.
- Take the Deluxe Beach Villa over the water villa. Four nights in the 495 sqm Sunrise Deluxe Beach Villa is ₹487,200 in the summer band, against ₹487,100 for the 164 sqm Sunrise Water Villa. ₹100 for three times the floor area, and room for a second child.
- Two villas in one stay, not on the dropdown. Two nights on the beach then two overwater is ₹435,200, against ₹487,100 for four straight water-villa nights. You save ₹51,900 and sleep in both. The resort can reverse the order without warning.
- Drinks, or all inclusive. A drinks-only add-on on half board runs about ₹31,900 a night for two. All inclusive is ₹33,000 and feeds you lunch too. Pay the extra eleven hundred. One plan covers the whole stay and everyone with you.
- The 1 October step is gentler than most islands: it adds 5% to 11% here, not the 20% you see closer to Malé.
Who this isn’t for
Anyone landing in Malé after 15:00. This island punishes a bad flight choice harder than a speedboat resort does. Anyone doing three nights, because the seaplane swamps a short trip.
Anyone who wants a calm, shallow lagoon every day. The live coral, turtles and eagle rays are real, but the best stretch runs between the water villas and the spa, on the windward side, choppy enough that we would not send a hesitant swimmer there.
Only the two Deluxe Beach Villas and the Sunset Grand Water Villa take two children. The Sunrise Beach Villa takes one child and no third adult.
Before you book
- Cancellation is better than most. Stays to 30 September: free up to 15 days out, paid in full 14 days before arrival. Stays 1 October to 20 December: free up to 31 days out, paid 30 days before. Then 100%, no-shows and early departure included.
- A child aged 2 to 11.99 is about ₹7,500 a night on half board plus ₹41,200 for the return seaplane. A third adult is about ₹37,300 a night plus ₹71,600, so on five nights a second villa usually wins.
- Minimum three nights, five villas per enquiry, no name changes. After 20 December sits outside this offer and carries compulsory supplements on 24 and 31 December. For a child under 12 in an overwater villa a parent signs a waiver at check-in.
Send us your dates, who is travelling, and whether the reef or the space matters more. We will cost two or three villas with the seaplane and taxes inside the number, and price the split stay if it comes out cheaper. Message our Maldives team on WhatsApp or send an enquiry.
