Le Touessrok, a member of the Leading Hotels of the World and flagship of Sun Resorts Limited is the first hotel in Mauritius to obtain the ISO 9001:2008 Certification. This has eventually become the new recognition for the 5 Star Luxury hotel Le Touessrok.

Le Touessrok has also been holding an ISO 22000:2005 certification since July 2007. This laid emphasis on managing and effectively implementing the principles of HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point). These are the techniques of identifying and preventing food safety hazards.

The new certification has boosted the spirit of the hotel authorities. They are now enthusiastic about improving the infrastructure, and other facilities to enable their guests a better stay.

The ISO 9001:2008 is a quality management system aiming at guaranteeing the effectiveness of the organization. The certification would also be beneficial to the team members, as they will have better working conditions, an increased level of job satisfaction and improved health and safety. In addition to this, the vendors will be drawing advantages from the growth, partnership and mutual understanding.
